OMG, can that weather forecast be for real?

Sat and Sun are a little uncertain with that nasty band of rain moving across Ireland, but hey - get the sun cream out.... downgrade the water proof and up the vest top levels!

I am giddy after countryfile.

Are we about to win the war? Possibly - but let's not get complacent. We're nearly there sun lovers.

When countryfile said 'it may hit 30' over the weekend, I did sex wee.

Oh my god we are all going to fry! :(;):D

Countryfile is gospel in my world, they are always right.

It's the papers I feel sorry for, what the hell will they be able to say about Glastonbury this year? ;)

Get in there Countryfile!

As long as that low stays as far north as they're predicting it's going to be a great start to the festival.

They didn't go into full detail about Saturday and Sunday, but if it's going to be as hot as they predict, I wouldn't be surprised if we see a few thundery showers on Saturday/Sunday/Monday.

Overall, very happy with that though :)

Bollocks.....

I cant wear shorts and I may have to buy some new shoes as my boots will get two hot...

whilst I revel in the no rain spoils of war, the very warm temperatures, for some,(ie me) do cause more than a little concern..

However I am willing to pay the price for the team if that's what's required, struggle on and make do.

However when I need a push would somebody please lend a hand...

Now where's the sun cream, sun hats, sun glasses....

I have been in the pub all afternoon, and unless you have all got togeter to pull a brilliant well organised practical joke, I sense the need for a sun hat, factor 30 and some aftersun.

I am on a train hone grinning like an idiot getting some odd looks.

    • Tell me more. Last Latitude we went to was '21 - my son was young & had a wagon so we snuck good beers in that way. I remember there being some Brooklyn IPA on sale which was tolerable - are you saying they don't sell anything other than Carlsberg now?! 😳
    • Tonight was a disgrace. There wasn't *that* much rain, and it wasn’t *that* windy. A festival of this size should be able to withstand some adverse weather without it bringing the whole circus to a standstill. And if it is true that part of a speaker on the Revolut stage fell…   As for the communication - announcing Massive Attack were playing at 12:30 and then nothing for over an hour while people waited in the rain. It’s laughable it really is.   If I said I’ll never come back again I’d be lying. The shambles of Barcelona 2022 and the disgrace of Madrid 2023 didn’t stop me, so this probably won’t either.   This festival gets so much wrong, but it is always saved by having such killer line-ups. It’s just a shame it treats the fans/customers/consumers like animals. Compare it to somewhere like Glastonbury and it’s worlds apart.
