Suggestions for 2010

For the old boys, it would be cool to get Andy Roberts doing a solo set. I've just been listening again to some of his stuff - fantastic and would fit EOTR perfectly.

Based on hunches, new album releases and general hopes I reckon the following should be at EOTR 2010:

• Midlake (new album out Feb 2010)

• Kings of Convenience (after 5 years off...surely?!)

• Grizzly Bear (after success of Veckatimest and Green Man last year...)

• Beach House (keep the Bella Union love in going...supporting Grizzly Bear next March)

• Spokane (ideal for Tipi)

• The Veils (mentioned on here too many times to not be in the running)

• Fionn Regan (new album Feb 2010)

• Anais Mitchell (fingers crossed...my hero)

• Dan Arborise (new album released this year and played at Larmer Trees Fest)

• Fyfe Dangerfield (of Guillemots fame - album out Jan 2010)

What do ya reckon? I would be happy with ANY of these

I reckon British Sea Power will be back after a years hiatus. They're expecting to release something next summer as well.

I must admit that the thought of lying on the grass, in the sun, holding a cold cider, surrounded by peacocks, listening to Midlake playing Roscoe does quite appeal.

Would be great to have him return.

This was our second EOTR and we absolutely loved the music again.

Top of my wishlist for next year would be a review of the after live music entertainment.....for the second year running we wandered aimlessly from venue to venue looking for something enjoyable to finish off the evening

PLEASE give the EOTR DJs in the Big Top something decent to play!!!

I completely accept it isn't a 'clubbing' event and wouldn't want it to be but surely there's scope for something people can have a bit of a dance to ?

Am I a lone voice on this front?

DUNGEN are the ultimate Swedish act but haven't been to the UK in a couple years so I would be ecstatic if they played. PLEASE book them as they are a fantastic live band!
