accurate ticket info for 2010

As yet, no decision has been taken on when tickets will go on sale for next year. It's all currently under consideration, with a decision expected to be taken soon-ish.

It's likely - tho not certain - that things will work in a similar way to how they did last year, with tickets going on sale sometime in the autumn, and a deposit scheme so that early purchasers don't have to pay the full amount at the time of their purchase. But as I say, it's not yet decided.

There's expected to be an announcement about ticketing for 2010 in the next week or two. eFestivals will of course have the info when it's firmed up.

So as it seems the person i spoke to gave me some duff news.

he certainly did.

What you need to be aware of is that there's huge numbers of people that claim to be in the know about anything and everything Glastonbury, but that few of them do. My info has come from one of the few people that are really in the loop about these sorts of things.

early november time?

as i've already said, nothing has been decided as yet.

It might be the date you gave in the other thread; it might be early nov as you suggest here; it might be later in the year; there might only be an April sale (tho I think that's the least likely of these).

Until they make the decision, it could be any decision.

I hope the deposit scheme is there again, although we have put away more or less enough to buy the tickets outright. I would love to see an option when you are buying your tickets to say pay a £60 deposit for 2011 as well, i would definatley pay a deposit now for a guaranteed ticket for 2011, would make life a lot easier , and think of the extra interest they would get for good causes :O:P:)
