Theres that Prince yearbook photo btw, didn't wanna imbed it as it was fairly big. Realistically speaking I don't think he'll play but the 40th anniversary surely calls for legends such as him and if Dylans rumoured I'm wondering who else will be...

Bowie - Semi-retired? I know he sang backing vocals for Scarlett Johansson's album last year and just released some old stuff... I think he's likely.

Zeppelin - All in the hands of Plant and he doesn't seem tempted by cash so may be drawn to Glasto but I still doubt it.

Pink Floyd/The Smiths/Stone Roses - As if...

I'd be very surprised if we didn't see Muse one night - they haven't played for a while and will have material from The Resistance to unleash on a Glasto audience.

Radiohead have been rumoured for years but obviously signed an exclusive deal with Leeds/Reading this year. Despite having no new material i think for the 40th anniversary Eavis will be keen to deliver Radiohead to the Pyramid.

Which leaves one slot - a re-united Pulp would be fabulous but unlikely. I can't envisage Led Zep, Stone Roses or the Smiths getting back together either, despite the draw of Glasto's 40th birthday. The Stones are too greedy, and i hope U2 are too. Dylan would have to perform a greatest hits set, which i imagine he'd be loath to do. Prince would be absolutely fantastic. Beyonce could be a curve ball. My preference would be for Daft Punk or Faithless but i'm not sure that either are big enough for a landmark Pyramid occasion. I'd love to see Bowie too (lost my opportunity when he pulled out of T in the Park a few years back) but i'm not sure his health would permit it. Perhaps someone could come out of left field and take the charts by storm between now and then, but it seems that Eavis already has his irons in the fire...

My feeling is:

Friday - Muse

Saturday - Prince

Sunday - Radiohead

I can't believe that barely a week after 2009 we're already speculating on 2010's line-up. Brilliant, eh!?
