So....will you be going to Glasto next year then?

I enjoyed this year's Glasto. But I may give it a break next year. Have done 5 Glasto's in a row now, and wouldn't mind doing something different next year like going to one of the festivals on the continent instead. As there's only so much money to spend on holidays each year along with limited time to get off work, it may well not be possible to do Glasto as well as a festival on the continent as well.

Still haven't decided yet. But there's a bit of time yet to make my mind up.

How about you lot? Definitely going to Glasto next year? Going to give it a miss next year? Or undecided?

I'm definatley up for going again, that will be 4 in a row if i can get tickets, i've only been with ex-girlfriends, people I didn't really know (there were 4 of us in total in 1 tent) and by myself this year so I am aiming to get a group together for next year.

I think ticket sales will be more difficult next year due to the pretty good weather and the 40th anniversary bit so it could be a struggle but I'm certainly going to try!

I'll be starting a new job in a school come September. So I doubt I'll get the time off.

I could go up Friday night and come home Sunday night I suppose, but I'm not sure if it's worth it to be perfectly honest. Plus, the camping really got on my tits this year, the music luckily salvaged the whole thing.

This year was my first Glasto and yeah I'd love to go again next year!!

Just wish I could get my hands on a press pass or something too as I would love to do some photography there - may even splash out on a new camera just for it....

Short answer: Yes

Long answer: Yes, but I'm getting married two weeks prior to the festival, so a) I'll be skint as f**k and :) my dearly beloved doesn't want to go, so I'll be leaving him a GlastoWidower just a fortnight after the wedding... *tries to ignore gnawing guilt*

This year was my first Glasto and I loved it :) Besides last years fiasco with the lineups every year looks guaranteed to be good, and the experience is something.

The only other festival I'd consider doing is Rock Werchter as that would be a great mates trip abroad and even though it's smaller, the acts are all quality. Lot of issues and cost involved with that so will probably be back at Glasto :)

If it clashes with next years World Cup then i definitely wont be goin but after this year i'm not sure i would anyway. Just wasn't enough acts i really wanted to see & i'm not into doin arty stuff or hanging out with hippies at Stone Circle.

Might give Oxegen a try

    • I keep seeing the Yungblud media push again: the interviews, the radio presenting tours, the reels after reels on IG and FB. His labels marketing team are on another push which can only mean new stuff coming out soon.
