Shaving at Glastonbury?

What does everyone else do? May not seem as much of a problem for others but even after a day my moustache stubble pisses me off, so am thinking of buying myself an electric razor for the festival, advised?

Just don't shave - yeah, it might get a bit tickly at the end of the festi, but so distracted by everything else going on I don't notice until I get back. Course my pins get very uncomfortable after a few days in the sun . . .

Shaving not ususlly a problem. Except at the bottom of Penards last year people moaned when I was at the sinks....only because I could'nt quite get my nuts in the trough and asked some one to lift me up a bit to rinse off

I always have a cold water shave with my trusty gillette turbo every morning at the standing metal sinks when I have my wash and clean my teeth.

Not as pleasant as using hot water but if you have sharp blades and some decent lather/shaving oil it all works out ok. (no major facial injuries to date)

Always feel better after a shave in the morning - sets me up for the day ahead !

I just let my beard grow free. It can get a bit annoying after the first day, but I'm generally too drunk to realise.

Look into shaving oil.

Me, I pack a wash kit and brew up kit. This means I can wash etc at my tent.

I have a small metal mirror on a string.

I have a tent with a porch, I rig the mirror up so that it hangs over the inner door of my tent, when I do up the door, its as stable as can be and a handy hight and position so that I can shave, see what I am doing, and its just the right hight for putting in contact lenses as well.

When its not needed, I just loop it up out of the way.

Use a 'fresh' razor is my other suggestion.

Being a relative youn un, my facial hair is slow growing and patchy so I leave it. Plus it makes me look older when buying beer

I don't bother but, to be honest, it does my head in by the end of the festival. But then, not having a shower's probably worse so it's put-up-wth-able.

I'm a scruffy bugger, and I usually leave it a week between shaves, festival or not.

However, if I did want to shave at Glastonbury, here's what I'd do.

• Exit tent

• Fill a bowl with water

• Shave using a disposable razor, soap and water

Don't really see what's so hard about that.

For extra comfort you could heat the water on a camp stove, but who can be bothered with that?

Think I'm just gonna go with this option, don't mind on the beard side of things so much but anything above my lip annoys me straight away.

Well I'm female and I manage to shave my legs at Glastonbury by bringing a small travel sized back of shaving foam, a razor and some wet wipes. Not sue if that same principal would work for men and facial hair though!

Stubble can become annoying, that's why I stop shaving about 2 weeks before Glasto and have a proper beard. The wonderful clean feeling when you shave it off when you get home is great!
