thejimbola
Green Day would sell more tickets than Radiohead (as well as Arctic Monkeys and Kings of Leon combined), why would they be below them?
gr4h4m
Now before I get shouted at, I KNOW, it probably will be Radiohead, and an hour ago I would have said it will definantly be there but... As well as a couple of other hints, it sounded to me like Jo Wiley just dropped a clanger, when announcing the Arctic Monkeys. She said (slightly paraphrasing).. "It's not Michael Jackson, a few of you have said Radiohead, it's not them, It's not Green Day, At least not the one im announcing anyway, and it's not... blah blah" Cock up or wind up? She was also banging on about the Simpsons in some guessing game thing (I wasn't really listening) but kept saying it had something to do with R+L. Green Day were in the Simpsons movie. Now I grant you a LOT of bands have been in the Simpsons, but as far as im aware Radiohead haven't (and not have KOL or AMs) Im sure im probably wrong, but thought id throw it out there. That comment just made me wonder, and Jo Wiley's never struck me as a windup merchant (although she does wind an awful lot of people up I grant )

Reading Local
I think it is Radiohead as someone has cleverly pointed out on this board /index.php?showtopic=117456">http://www.efestivals.co.uk/forums/index.p...howtopic=117456 They are in the US until Thursday and so probably wouldn't arrive back in the UK until Friday so hence having the AM at Leeds Friday and Reading Saturday
flossy_
Would love that (even though I love KOL, it's not like I won't see them again)

Benj
Just had a nasty thought... What if Kaiser chiefs are the third headliners I'd be sonisphere bound fo' sho' if that was the case
thomasowen
I don't get why Arctic Monkeys are headlining, they about the same size as Kaiser Chiefs
clartmaster
As long as KOL are playing, i don't give a f**k....
RaymondM
Don't get me wrong, I like Green Day and would love to see them, but I would be gutted if Radiohead wasn't announced.
MJMilz14
I'd love it to be Green Day! personally I don't get why Arctic Monkeys are headlining, they about the same size as Kaiser Chiefs and they playing second fiddle to Kings Of Leon apprently

MJMilz14
Either that or he's from the not too distant future where both bands are co headlining small pubs in Leeds becuase neither are cool anymore
AloneInDecember
in that case the day it happens must be getting sooner
leebyron
I hope to god it's Green Day instead of Radiohead, or they're both there and KOL are under Radiohead or Arctics.. I'll seriously die of boredom if it's Arctics/Kings/Radiohead.. worst headliners I can remember. Not holding out for Lockup/NME headliners being any more interesting either unless Jane's Addiction, Weezer, or Prodigy headling the NME. eFestivals
Neil better watch his back if he's got my hopes up wrongly over Radiohead i've never said that it is Radiohead!!! So if it's not and you're disappointed that's all your own doing. (having said that, I do *think* it's Radiohead). I have said it's not Green Day, and I stand by that. tomdsjames
Green Day are my fave band, I got my hopes up when they were rumoured on here. I'm not going to believe this because I don't want to be disappointed tonight when they aren't announced.
