nope, other than what they said in an interview with Teletext a few weeks back, that they weren't playing any UK festivals this year.

I've just had word that there's likely to be no truth whatsoever in this story by the Sun that they're playing.

While I can't guarantee that what I've just been told is 100% accurate, I have more belief in that than I do in The Sun.

Not sure if having the record label there will mean anything substantial, but as mute records is also nick cave's label, would that also perhaps give some weight to ivan's list which had him playing.

Also Daydream Nation was released on a sublabel of mute, so might perhaps strengthen the sonic youth rumours...

I very much doubt it - the Scum's DM story came from a PR man, not an agent or the band.

I've been warned by 'people in the know' that it shouldn't be believed.

(That's not a guarantee that it's wrong btw, but I do think it's likely to be wrong).
