to be honest its looking like a day ticket for friday and sat at reading and then linkin park day at sonisphere if tickets get released on day basis. its likely that linkin park, nin, placebo might well happen and fit very well

I'll tell you what, if Reading can't secure bands on the Download and Sonisphere bills, theres a lot of great bands getting crossed off rather rapidly.. Nine Inch Nails, Placebo, Linkin Park, Alice In Chains, The Prodigy, Slipknot, Korn, Manson...

Anyone else getting worried?

Try delighted. I'm hoping with Download and Sonisphere taking all the predictable acts, Reading and Leeds may book some subheadliners with a bit of originality. I mean I don't want NIN or Placebo back so soon. Maybe The Offspring, Blink 182, The Cure or Faith no more.

I'm hopeful we'll see a few bands who arn't playing other festivals, but there really arn't alot of bands touring this year except for the hyped up indie stuff. Just look at TITP's line up...

Radiohead won't let lostprophets and offspring play under them. they chose the bands who play before them 99.9% of the time, and they are nto fans of those bands. Think Morrissey or My Bloddy valentine under radiohead.

Nothing has been said to suggest Radiohead are playing Sunday though, were just assuming. I'm fairly sure there will be one 'rockier' day with Lost Prophets, Fall Out Boy and the likes.

MGMT will probably be a dead cert for the Radiohead day.

"Radiohead for Sunday" has been done based on the assumption that a legendary band will headline that day.

Out of the three supposed headliners I would've thought Arctic Monkeys would be better suited to the Sunday, with Lostprophets below, and then more traditional Sunday bands below that.

Of course, in an ideal world none of the three would play Sunday, with AM below Radiohead, but even I'm resigned to the headliners now...

My Bloody Valentine, even with Radiohead backing, aren't big enough to play 2nd.

If I haven't said it enough on these forums.... I'm hoping Beck under Radiohead. He's supported them a few times before and would be about the right size. Flaming Lips would be a good option though.

I know I've said this in another thread, but if that is true they can go f**k themselves. We need to have at least one band who would be considered normal for a Sunday playing in the top 3, otherwise it just defeats the point of the day. I mean, I'd be up for Morrissey on Friday or Saturday, but on Sunday, no.

I think Radiohead will play Sunday but KOL would be my second choice not Arctic Monkyes. Also I dont think everyone should assume Radiohead will get take over the entire day, they may suggest a couple of bands they want to play with them but I doubt it will be a make or break deal.
