I thought the same and I checked their website after this rumour came about last night and it says something along the lines of more dates to be announced soon

Saw them last year at TITP anyway but would love to see them again!

Rage Against The Machine?! That would be cool, i'd like to see them again as they were just anticpiated way too much at Reading so it would be good to see them headline Download!

Also if Korn do play, will it be the original line up or Jonathan davis with a bunch of session musicians like their last tour? It's be good if at least Silvera came played with them!

No really sure about this day, I'd usually expect a new-ish band here but looking at the rumours I'm not sure.

Prodigy are definately not there now. Heaven and Hell may take the third day instead. I would usually put my money on a newer band, but I just cant see any big ones in the running.

I was under the impression slipknot were almost certainly Headlining Sat. My friend just said that the prodigy are doin gigs on the friday and sat. So I just figured they're probably not playing. I would hate to see them playing and not headlining. Its just a guess.

Its friday and sunday the prodigy have gigs. Saturday they're free. Kind of hoping for double headline with them and slipknot

This has not much relevance to download (i dont think!) but news last night Blink 182 are officially back writing a new album and world tour:
