I went to see Tyrannosaur by Paddy Considine the other evening. I thought it was excellent. He is a great actor and with this film he showed that he can direct a film very well.

that's silly Rufus, lot's of good films have won Baftas, why avoid them?

Dr Strangelove, Goodfellas, American Beauty, Lord of the Rings, Slumdog Millionaire, The Graduate, Annie Hall, One Flew Over The Cuckoos Nest, Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon....

I'm getting bored of listing them now, but you get the jist

Watched The Naked Gun last night. Haven't seen it in years. Had me in stitches. There were tears of laughter streaming down my face scene at the start where Nordberg gets shot.

Just watched "Tyrannosaur". Fuck me it was good. I always find Peter Mullan uncomfortable to watch and did in this, but he shines throughout. Olivia Coleman was absolutely wonderful. If this is the sort of work that Paddy Considine can do I really hope there is more. I am literally wiping tears from my eyes.

As for Naked Gun, that film will stand the test of time no problem - a comedy classic.

Does anyone know why Rizzo is only a background character in the film? Did the voice actor die/have disputes or something?
