On a side note ... you see that menu that Mrs Mia Wallace is holding in that ^^^ photo ... well I stayed in Planet Hollywood Hotel in Las Vegas a couple months ago and our bedroom was the Pulp Fiction room (each room has different props and photos from different movies). That ^^^ menu was in the room beneath the glass on the coffee table!!!

watched Green Zone on satdee, really enjoyed it.

watched Toy Story 3 with the lad and 2 of his mates yesterday (all 6yo)- I can honestly say I have never enjoyed watching a movie with kids this much EVER before. They were laughing and giggling all the way through it. I think disney/pixar have pulled it off again. Unfortunately I missed the least 20 minutes as I had to go to bed 'cos I had to be up at 3.15 this morning, so I cant really give a proper "review" as such.

"Boy A". It was basically a film about Jamie Bulger's killers but they'd chaged it so the two boys had killed a girl instead of a boy and one of them had hung themself while the other got sent to Manchester with a new identity. Pretty hard to watch at times, but a good film. Excellent soundtrack too.

I quite enjoyed Hot Tub Time Machine.

Watched "The Goods" with Jeremy Piven the other day, really enjoyed it, but would only reccommend it to fans of Will Ferrel type comedy where they take something dull (ice dancing, NASCAR, in this case selling cars) and make it seem like the most important thing in the world. Will Ferell in fact cameos with a classicly quotable line - "I always knew I'd go out like this, falling to my death, holding a dildo while dressed as Abe Lincoln" to get the context you need to see the film though.

Should be getting a delivery from Lovefilm today of: Saw VI, Open Graves (?) and Sherlock Holmes.

Re watched Revenge of the Sith the other day (well, about 45 minutes. All I could handle) cos my flatmate was watching it. Its like you kind of forget just how shit those prequels are and then there it is for you to see. Did amuse myself though when I realised that Ewan Mcgregor reminded me of Murray from Flight of the Conchords. Made his scenes much more fun

I watched Brooklyns Finest last night, and I enjoyed it. It wasnt brilliant, but it was well worth a watch. It was nice to see loads of people from "The Wire" in it too - including Weebay, Omar and Clay "sheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeiiiiiiiiiitttttttt" Davis.

I also watched Eden Lake too, which "does what it says on the tin" but was truly horrible. I think it justifies the 4* review empire gave it simply becuase it was very very unpleasant, as it was supposed to be, but I have reservations over its value as art. It was basically torture-porn IMHO.
