  1. The OP hasn't mentioned taking a campervan, just a microvan towing a trailer tent + 2 small tents.
  2. If it's towing a trailer tent you only need one CV pass. Don't worry you will be fine and there is no reason to even tell the stewards anyone is sleeping in the microcamper, it's simply a towing vehicle. I have used the CV fields every festival since 2009 and have seen a variety of towing vehicles not all are cars! 👍
  3. @blutarsky Tell the stewards you had to leave the site and are returning if they try to park you up elsewhere., assuming the space next to your sister is still available. Use what3words app to navigate there.
  4. She would be better telling them that you are further behind in the queue. Then saving the space with either a drive away awning or tent and windbreakers.
  5. I have tried loads of masks and this one is outstanding, expensive but long lasting compared to others. https://www.amazon.co.uk/Manta-Sleep-Mask-Adjustable-Deepest-Possible/dp/B07PRG2CQY
  6. Happy birthday youngster! 🎂🍻🎉🥳
  7. My apologies, there are some great tips in there though! 😂
  8. An excellent choice! Picked up some Fever Tree Clementine tonics at the weekend which I am looking forward to trying! 🙂
  9. The Coleman is rated the same as an Igloo. See the tips above on pre-chilling, it really extends the length of time and I am a firm believer in ice cubes filling the gaps as the drinks and frozen water keep the water from the melted in ice cold, which in turn keeps the drinks cold. We also have fitted a clasp closure to outs to ensure the lid stays shut when travelling. There are loads of other tips in the linked thread on the 1st page of this thread. 👍
  10. Drop an email to campervans@glastonburyfestivals.co.uk and see if they can arrange for you to collect your CV pass on arrival in the CV field and your tickets from the ticket enquiry office (metal box on the hill) in E21 campervan field. 🙂
  11. Never heard of it at Glastonbury before. I recall the Jolly Green Sherpas being at Boardmasters in 2016 for arrivals, all the staff buggered off before departure were needed, I have never come across them since. Looks like they are back at Boardmasters this year..... https://www.facebook.com/jollygreensherpas/
  12. I will be there from Sunday this year, staying in Spring Ground! 😍
  13. Have a look at these, highly recommended by my other half.... 🙂 https://www.alpinehearingprotection.co.uk/products/musicsafe-pro
  14. Hit 60 in January, no plans to change my lifestyle and will carry on attending festivals, it's just a number!
  15. My Igloo Maxcold lasts 7 days! It's all down to a 5 litre pre-frozen bottle and topping with ice and minimal opening!

That's the one, he wore it to the Wednesday v Sunderland match last week.

    Pete McKee

I know his work, I was a regular at the Wapentake back in the day (Sheffield Rock Bar) and he has done a few paintings of there, and as you a lot are music themed. I bought my brother his a limited edition Sheffield Wednesday Pete McKee shirt for Christmas!
  18. I struggle to help my husband get our loaded 72L Igloo Maxcold from the house to the car - which is about 10 metres!

    Maceo's

I saw Fatboy Slim play there Friday afternoon in 2013, a friend not at the festival was watching out on Twitter for any secret sets and luckily we were in the Greenfields when we got the text. I texted another mate who is a huge fan and literally bumped into her in Block 9. She hadn't seen the text, it was just coincidence she was there, we all piled in and there were about 100 in there. Password needed to get in (we weren't staff) which was Eat Sleep Rave Repeat!
  20. We have an Igloo Maxcold as well as the caravan fridge, I have never been one for packing light!! 😂
  21. PS And the best cool bag I have ever owned - https://www.lakeland.co.uk/62771/lakeland-thermoflex-cool-bag-20-litre?src=gfeed&gclid=Cj0KCQjwpv2TBhDoARIsALBnVnknAIqX7T2tDwnsvDUmVdKizs7cuyJU0nctAPJcbdHmcKlqPGSnIswaAriCEALw_wcB&gclsrc=aw.ds I picked ours up off eBay for under £20.00 The are lined with flectalon which keeps things cold for longer. We bring the caravan so our drinks are refrigerated then transferred into the cool bag, rarely use the bars apart from The Cider Bus which is a must!
  22. I read up on SHO before purchasing the food flask and found great reviews. The food flask BTW would be good for ice cube storage if you got a bag from the Co-op!
