  1. Will all depend if I get a place, I volunteered for Oxfam this year but would like to work in Spring Ground itself or at the arrivals marquee.
  2. Likewise! But I thought it was earlier than that!
  3. Can anyone advice me if Google Pay automatically populated the payment details in Thursdays sale?
  4. I will vouch that @MrZigster is a long term and trustworthy forumer who I have met personally. He will not mess anyone around if they are successful in getting him a ticket. Wish I had space in my group for him! Good luck!

    Google Pay

Did anyone manage to use this to pay on Thursday or is it a case of entering the card number? Many thanks!
  6. Ability to book online and not by phone in 2005 2007 was a very, very wet year, amd Jay Z headlined in 2008 which wasn't popular. It was surprising 2009 was so slow though.
  7. In 2020 the festival announced that all registrations submitted before 2010 are no longer valid, could this be the case? See - https://glastonbury.seetickets.com/registration/lookup Sorry to be the bearer of bad news if this is the case.
  8. I am severely deaf so wouldn't be any help on a podcast, I am an Oxfam volunteer who and I now stay in Spring Ground, and have used the accessible facilities since 2011. Happy to answer any questions that you have via messages etc. You could try asking @Chazeboy who works for the Accessible team may be able to help!
  9. This is from 2022 and shows a map of the area too - https://www.glastonburyfestivals.co.uk/information/tickets/local-sunday-tickets/ 😃
  10. You got ours in 2016 for 2017! I have your registrations at the ready!
  11. I volunteered with Oxfam this year and successfully applied for a PA ticket and stayed in the accessible campsite so they are not exclusively available to general admission tickets, the link you attached is aimed at general admission applicants. There is a separate application for crew so it's possible there is also a separate one for hospitality ticket holders. @GlastoGary Contact the accessible team about this, they are super helpful. accessibility@glastonburyfestivals.co.uk
  12. Have you followed the guidance given on the webpage https://glastonbury.seetickets.com/registration regarding the photo? If so then you need to contact photoqueries@seetickets.com Good luck!
  13. https://glastonbury.seetickets.com/event/glastonbury-2023-deposits/worthy-farm/2500000 still works for me.
  14. They published the same document in 2020 😀 https://www.glastonburyfestivals.co.uk/full-2020-ticket-info/
  15. Yes you can but they need an allocated seat. If you are successful in the coach sale, email coachtravel@seetickets.com to purchase a seat only on the coach.
  16. I have witnessed this in the campervan fields, a group of 4 the girls got in the blokes were detained and taken by the police after failing to prove they were their own tickets. All 4 ended up leaving the site a few hours later under the watchful eye of security. They had bought the tickets from a mate who assured them they would be fine!
  17. I in no way have said I think they will lower the standards. It is allowing GP letters as the only evidence that I feel they might change. This is just my personal take on how I feel things may change in the future, not the view of the festival. I even saw threads where people were being advised how to get a GP's letter worded to get them into Spring Ground for temporary impairments. This saddens me as I struggled from 2011 up and down the Hill of Death to the Accessible East Campervan overspill until this year. I was receiving DLA/PIP but I didn't feel I was disabled enough to take a space in Spring Ground that someone with greater needs than me could have.
  18. You are shown by one of the accessible team staff where to pitch so it's not a free for all. Just explain his vision loss and I am sure they will safely accommodate you. This year was my first time actually in Spring Ground but I have used the PA ticket, viewing platforms, cut throughs and forward caravan pitching since 2011. Without the wonderful accessible team I would have had to stop going years ago. 🙂
  19. When I first took my husband as my carer in 2011 I also bought him a ticket to be on the safe side just in case he didn't get a PA ticket. He did so we got a refund less £25 for his ticket once the refund was processed. I was on DLA back then and PIP now. You need to apply as soon once you get tickets as accessibility was vastly busier than usual this year. Spring Ground is a wonderful place to camp and there are staff on hand to assist if you need help pitching your tent. You can take 2 other people in there with you in a separate tent but that is the maximum. There are cut throughs, viewing platforms and even a minibus, these can only used by the disabled person and their PA. Ask if you have and more questions, here is a PDF File from 2019 which may be useful to you. https://cdn.glastonburyfestivals.co.uk/wp-content/uploads/2014/05/2019-TICKET-ACCESS-INFO-PDF.pdf PS Just seen that you prefer not to split the group on ticket day which makes sense. If he is on Middle or Higher rate DLA for care and/or mobility • Receipt of Personal Independence Payment (PIP) • Nimbus Access Card - + 1 category requirement – www.accesscard.org.uk • Armed forces Independent payment • War Disablement Pension • D/deaf or blind registration I would say 100% he will be approved for a carer ticket, I have a feeling they may change the other supporting documentation this year. I haven't heard anything to back this up but they can only accept so many people and that would be a way of reducing the numbers.
  20. I could hear in my right ear back then so it wasn't too bad! I now carry a spare pair just in case! I also wear Deaf Metal earrings which are attached to my aids just in case! My husband managed to lose his prescription sunglasses this year so had to resort to wearing a pair of my oversized non prescription sunglasses on top! Let's hope Lost Property manage to locate them!
  21. Lost my hearing aid in 2014 on the Wednesday, I think it was when I was wristbanded as I had to remove my sunglasses. Reported it to Lost Property and was amazed to received a small package in later that year in September. It was my hearing aid and once I inserted a new battery it worked! I had in the meantime got a replacement so I now had a spare! 👍
  22. Yes, public ticket holders stick their own lovely cheerful stickers on, unlike the massive paper ones stuck on by gate crew that have to be removed to drive anywhere post festival. It is indeed. 🙂
