  1. They appear to be part of Yurtel - https://yurtel.co.uk/events/glastonbury-festival-glamping/ Drop Yurtel an email to check they are genuine. Please remember to report back! 😊
  2. There does appear to be a lot of empty field near Gate D but no idea if it is genuine. Have a look at this map - https://www.glastopedia.com/festivals/2023/satellite Maybe a local can assist @parsonjack @pilton diggerany idea?
  3. I have one of those, it was from the Gringo stall. πŸ˜‚
  4. It doesn't look busy enough in West Holts to be Thursday afternoon. It's packed near the Brothers Bar and it's where #Twisto meet up at 2pm, it was busier than that as I recall.
  5. The Accessible Campervans/Caravan site was moved into the right hand side of wicket. Its opposite Spring Ground Accessible Campsite which is just for tents now. It enables both Accessible fields to share the facilities.
  6. This is a fab map, thanks so much! I can see our pitch in E21! What day and time was in taken? 😊
  7. There is a separate re-entry lane so they won't have to queue with new arrivals. 😊
  8. They wouldn't be allowed to park there. @Crazyfool01 But an online delivery to Bath and West might work? πŸ€”
  9. @Crazyfool01 @Avalon_Fields This needs updating on the line up page 😊
  10. It worked for me in 2022, I haven't volunteered since. Hopefully someone else can comment. 😊
  11. This is the page to monitor, you will need to have set up an account to see it. You will also get alerts for all changes to other festivals too! It keeps the anxiety levels ticking over! πŸ˜‚ https://myfestivals.oxfam.org.uk/Signup/FestivalRole.
  12. At this stage you have the same chance as a first time volunteer to someone with priority. Priority gives existing volunteers who meet the criteria a week before everyone else to book when places are first released. Make sure you are registered, join the Oxfam Stewards Facebook group and set up page alerts on this page - https://myfestivals.oxfam.org.uk/Signup/FestivalRole Make sure you sign in constantly as it logs you out. Good luck! πŸ€
  13. An upgrade to a large bottle might be a good idea! πŸ˜‚
  14. If you get into East we can always have a mini meet up there. I will be in E21 somewhere by the hedge between there and E20 in the Accessible Area. 😊
  15. I bought these in 2007 from Ian Gill Sculpture in The Greenfields. One is a stork and the other is an acorn leaf bird bath. My mum died in 2006 and my dad gave me her secret money stash he found in her purse. These both represent my mum, the stork being the carrier of babies and she carried me. And one of her sayings was "From Little Acorns, Mighty Oak Trees Grow". They always make me think of her even after all this time! πŸ’—
  16. Maybe contact for more information @t0paz ? 😊
  17. It was in 2022 when I volunteered. I remember it being very hot and there were long queues for the minibus. Everyone waiting was very patient and just happy to be there which was lovely! πŸ˜€
  18. My shift was 2pm to 10pm on Thursday and it was steadily busy until about 7pm. On Wednesday some of my friends joined the very long queue at 6am and eventually reached the front at 11:15 am. By the time they got to Spring Ground both of them were absolutely exhausted and would never do it again. I know I couldn't physically queue like that which is why we go into E21 Forward Accessible Campervan site. 😊
  19. @phillyfaddle I don't agree with @tarw about there not being a queue, some people wait for hours on Wednesday morning. Expect to queue when you and the person who you are the PA for collect their access pack and your ticket from the Accessible Arrivals Marquee in the car park. People start queuing overnight just like any other pedestrian gate so depending on what time you arrive will depend on the wait. Wednesday morning is the busiest time. I recommend taking a chair for the queue and plenty of water and snacks. There are toilets but nothing else. I have experienced both entering the festival via the Accessible Arrivals Marquee and working there. I volunteered as an Oxfam steward, my role was checking tickets there.
  20. https://www.glastonburyfestivals.co.uk/information/accommodation/pre-erected-camping/worthy-view-pre-erected-camping/tent-types-and-prices/ https://www.glastonburyfestivals.co.uk/information/accommodation/pre-erected-camping/sticklinch/sticklinch-accommodation-options/ 😊
  21. The shuttle runs from 9am on Tuesday until 8pm on Monday - 24/7. https://www.glastonburyfestivals.co.uk/information/getting-here/2592-2/
  22. Having pitched in E21 for many years I have witnessed crowds (100's) of people gathering on Wednesday and Thursday awaiting getting smuggled in. Occasionally security get alerted and they are rounded up and removed. Not sure of the actual route into the festival or who the smugglers are but it happens. The campervan fields have food outlets and toilets so these are probably more appealing than loitering in the car parks awaiting the contact making the meet up call! We once had two blokes without wristbands enter our awning, not realising we were in the caravan. I followed them to the food outlet in E20 and pointed them out to security who removed them.
  23. This will give you a better idea ☺️
  24. See latest post!! ☺️ @morph100 was after 2 spaces πŸ‘πŸ»
