  1. I asked if they would be there and this is the reply! Yes we will, usual place
  2. My first year too and we also camped in Oxlyers, we arrived on Wednesday afternoon and almost had the place to ourselves. I recall a river coming through my other halfs ancient 2 berth scout tent on Friday morning, soaking all our clothes. Luckily we had left the majority of our stuff in the car and unlike some the car wasn't under water! The electric supply was down for a while and we had a wander in search of a coffee. Saw the poor buggers in Pennards whose tents were completely under water. Had an amazing time, the sun came out and I have never missed one since, I cried when we had to go home on the Monday. We bought a bigger tent and relocated to Williams in 2007 as it was on a slope! Then in 2009 we bought a caravan and have never regretted it!
  3. I have often struggled to get onto the viewing platforms for more popular acts so this is of interest to me too. We ended up near the top platform for Paul McCartney and it was rammed but at least I could use the accessible loos. Is it a case of using the back stage loos? Guessing it would be hard work (I have a mobility scooter) using the ones on the nearby viewing platform.
  4. My bad, I hadn't realised they did paneer. I have amended my post to state they are vegetarian.
  5. Apologies, Dosa Deli is vegetarian not vegan. 😊
  6. Dosa Deli is vegetarian, their onion bhajis and Dosa wraps are divine! I will have to do a comparison this year!
  7. Have you also tried Dosa Deli, Williams Green? That's are usual South Indian street food stall, wondering how they compare?
  8. I have just asked them via Messenger and they will be there in their usual place! 🍗😋
  9. Look like the trader confirmations are being sent out, just spotted on Twitter that Lalita's Vegan cafe have had their pitch confirmed. 🙂
  10. Leave as early as you can on Monday or wait until after 4pm when the rush dies down. From 10am onwards it's very busy.

  12. Up to an hour at busy times going both in and out, 20 minutes when it's quieter. It's best to take everything you need for the day and evening to avoid queuing twice!
  13. I think the question that you need to ask your hire company is what size the gas cylinder is and will it be full? Calor Gas which is the most popular one in the UK comes in a variety of sizes of both butane and propane starting at 4.5kg. Without this information you can't speculate how much you need. 😃
  14. If you don't get on straight away don't stop refreshing. Like with SeeTickets people's payments fail. Good luck!
  15. @Neil Here's a photo, it was the three rows closest to the hedge between E21 and E20 in 2019.
  16. Yes, East Quiet is a specific group of fields and there will be space for everyone. It fills up as shown in the attachment below, I have also attached a map of the fields. Often people who arrive later will be closer to Gate C as they fill in gaps that have been left.
  17. The festival have the following clause in place in case of adverse weather like in 2016. Whilst every effort will be made to accommodate campervans in your preferred site, the Festival reserves the right to provide alternative facilities in the event of adverse conditions. I don't recall anyone not getting in the site they hold a campervan pass for with the exception of oversized vehicles which are directed to Bath & West and unconverted vans which are directed to the car parks.
  18. You will probably get more replies if you post is this thread....
  19. Illness would be a valid reason, having bought a ticket in the resale wouldn't. Have a read through this.....https://oxfamapps.org/festivals/assets/pdfs/Oxfam Stewarding Terms of Reference.pdf
  20. https://gringofairtrade.com/ is always at Glastonbury, a favourite of mine and my husband.
  21. I volunteered with Oxfam stewards and my role was ticket checking at the Accessible Arrivals marquee. Absolutely loved it! There were 6 Access Stewards working in the marquee who check all that new arrivals in and ensure that customers have the correct access passes etc. I have also received an invitation to apply but I was fortunate to get a ticket so I won't be volunteering this year. @Chazeboy worked there last year too so calling him to the thread! 🙂
  22. I had an initial email on 15 December to announce the on-sale date for priority applications.
  23. If you have any helpers make sure that they have your postcode. This was required in 2022 in the security check. Good luck! 🤞
