  1. Feel similarly. She has played it at some shows this year so I am really hoping we get it next week!
  2. What's funny is a hint of a sprinkle in the run up feels like the end of the world, yet when you're there I find most of us tend to just stick on a coat and crack on if its just a drizzle. It's really going to be fine and I CANNOT wait.
  3. Hopefully setting up my tent in Oxlyers...
  4. Fully expecting Cut To The Feeling to be one of the most magic moments of the weekend. Also, unless he's abroad I could totally see Rufus Wainwright making an appearance for The Loneliest Time. BUZZING.
  5. Ha, no way! And yes, I saw Lykke Li too. The Guardian tent used to have some really great acts.

She's fantastic. We saw her at Wilderness in 2021 and a few of us went along dressed in cowboy attire and she was kind enough to come down after and chat to us all. Was really cute.
  7. I saw Norwegian pop icon Annie headline one of the Dance stages in 2008 and there were nine of us present. Despite that she absolutely spellbinding.
  8. Based on their social media posts from when the line up dropped they basically implied as it was the same slot they played in 2008 its basically going to be that album featuring heavily
  9. No more fallow years...
  10. I know it doesn't have the structure or seating of some of the other bars mentioned but I can't see how you can beat Brothers on a Wednesday afternoon/evening

If you'd like to see the build a little more close up then someone is posting little daily vlogs of their work behind the scenes at the festival and its honestly so fascinating seeing it from this perspective. Lots of videos on her profile for those on tiktok: tiktok.com/@manjimeow/video/7241165846624652571?lang=en
  12. I distinctly remember the Brothers Bar being cash only? Or at least it was for significant periods!

Oxlyers every year since 09 for me. I was set up by around 10am last year and I'd say you could still get a decent sized group set up by around 12/1. After that its just mostly just whatever little spot you could find for one or two smalls tents.
  14. You might get a few of the hits mixed in with other songs but it will primarily be songs from various artists. I'm sure it'll be great either way but don't expect anything like the live show would be my advice!

My guess is its dependent on what other events have the tent booked in the run up?
  16. You can only re-enter that night. And tbh the queue can be fun if you're with a good group and there's plenty of entertainment out front to keep spirits up.
  17. I would say unless you get there before 11 the queue will not move quick at all and after midnight it probably isn't worth bothering due to re-entries. I've been stood at a standstill in the queue for over two hours once from like 1am due to being too drunk and silly rumours that they'd let us in any moment
  18. Jodie Harsh: 19:30 - 20:45 BIMINI: 20:50 - 21:30 Both on the Greenpeace stage
  19. Jodie Harsh, Bimini and hopefully Sherelle b2b I. Jordan

Think we saw them cleaning this one on the camera the other day so would imagine its definitely not new!
  21. I can't remember if they open the queue early but even if not you might want to linger in the general area. I think Thursday tends to be the busiest night as there's no competition with major stages in the evening so you'll definitely need to commit at least an hour before I expect?
  22. Great news. Heard some horror stories already from other festivals in terms of pricing so this will relieve a few people I'm sure.

    The churnups

I don't know what to believe anymore
  24. Have you considered going on Thursday instead? I think you need to make the experience as stress free as possible and going a bit later without the queues and stress might help kick things off in the right way?
  25. Reading this stressed me out. Sounded awful. The absence of a car for me brings great benefits in that I have to force myself to take everything in one trip...
