    SZA

Can't see SZA accepting anything less than a headline slot on the Pyramid which, probably, rules her out...
  2. Went for Thursday for the first time ever after seeing Wednesday as sold out and got lucky. So relieved and feel very lucky. Sorry to those who were unsuccessful - remember, 3 more opportunities left plus competitions!
  3. Is it really that big of a deal? I know some of us live and breathe the experience but I have friends who'd always just opt for general sale and still have a blast. I think if you respond nicely to their decision but explain you'd love the help in the coach sale and then, in return, you'll help them in the general sale if successful I'm sure they might be open to that? If not then maybe that does say something about them.
  4. I think Avril in the Miley slot a few years back would work. She would easily draw one of the biggest crowds of the weekend too I bet
  5. Surely not. Demand is incredibly high.
  6. I'm off the waitlist but it still says "this sale is for invited fans" and gives me no opportunity to enter my code??? Or do I need to wait until midday for the next sale?
  7. A friend who registered for AMEX has been told they're on the waitlist...I just registered for general and yet to hear...
  8. Nothing for me yet either 😞
  9. I walk round the park almost daily and it definitely feels like there's plenty of spots outside the fence to listen, especially to the East Stage. I plan to do that on Monday for Haim!
  10. Easy to forget just how big they were in the 2000s. The first album sold nearly 3 million copies in the UK alone and some of their biggest hits came from their second record. I'd absolutely love to see them if I had the chance. Jake seems to be smashing it lately too.
  11. Wasn't Thursday absolutely banging this year? Jodie Harsh into Bimini at Greenpeace was one of the most joyous times I've had at Glastonbury then an iconic few hours at Lonely Hearts Club followed by i Jordan b2b with Sherelle at The Levels made for one of my favourite Glastonbury days I can remember.
  12. Not forcing myself to down multiple pints of water before bed most nights. The one time I did it (Saturday night/Sunday morning) it honestly made a world of difference to my day despite the fact it had been a really heavy night. The mistake I make is I fill my bottle and take it to bed and in my mind that is me staying hydrated until I wake up a few hours later with it still half full...

    2024 Headliners

I think the festival really needs to give at least one headline slot to an emerging new artist. The festival was near perfect for me this year but I really do think its time they go back to giving artists their "chance" so to speak. It was great when Stormzy had his shot and smashed it. I absolutely would not be opposed to a Dua Lipa headline slot or even go further and ruffle feathers with someone like Fred Again. I'd probably not bother with the latter but its clear he could draw a huge crowd.
  14. Was very well organised this year. Even during the busier nights in the SE Corner I felt the system worked well. They held you up when it was appropriate and traffic moved fine as a result. No complaints from me!
  15. The fact its compromising the experience for disabled people is pretty horrible. I really don't think the flags add to the "magic" despite the fact it does look great on tv and can help you find mates in the crowd.
  16. 1. Carly Rae Jepsen Near perfect setlist, great crowd and she was so clearly up for it and having the time of her life. Hearing Run Away With Me live was what the kids would call a 'core memory' for me. 2. Joesef Was a hard decision deciding not to go see Lizzo but I'm glad I stuck around for Joesef instead. Enjoyed hearing all the songs off his record and being part of a lovely crowd that were all just there to sing and have fun. Perfect weather too. 3. Foo Fighters Not even sure I expected it to be in my top three but it was just all round good vibes. I really loved his performance with his daughter too.

    The Levels

An amazing space and venue. Really hope it stays
  18. They were great but from memory they don't tend to broadcast the very early sets.
  19. It's gonna be fine. Have an amazing time.
  20. There is often a fair bit going on in the South East Corner but they just don't advertise it like they used to.
  21. Yep, totally get you! We have a return coach at 4am on Monday so in a similar position but have decided I'll pack everything and store it in the lock up and go out for a few hours then collect it around 2am and just deal with it. I tend to end up in bed early on the Sunday night anyway so I don't mind too much.
  22. My experience has definitely been that its pretty much a free for all on the Monday for return coaches. However, I doubt this is actually official policy and I suspect you do risk later coaches being full/busier. A good back up would be to book a separate coach or train back, although that will be costly!
