I'm going to be arriving to the car park on Tuesday night in order to try and ensure we get a good space in cockmill family camping via PGB. I believe the best way to approach is from the east and to go for blue/ purple car parks. Any other tips? Should I get there super early like 8 or 9pm or will middle of the night be a viable option?

The glade was for sure one of the most popular pissing spots for a lot of people.

The WV car park? I've been thinking of going ahead of the missus and kids and trying to get into a car park as close to PGB as possible as that's beside cockmill meadow for family camping. Have seen others say you can arrive super early and be super far away and similarly arrive late but be lucky and be right beside the gate. Any advice on what time is good to head for car parks and how to get I to the car park you're after?

I've never been overly fussed about the headliners as I am old and out of touch anyway these days. I do usually like to have 1 I'm interested in and Macca was a massive booking in that regard. That's the response I was hoping for. Then I can just plan to approach from the right side and hopefully get a prime spot in the car park. Then get queueing early with minimal trek from car to campsite on each run.

Going to glasto this year with 3 kids (2,8,9).We are deliberating over whether to keep our camper van tickets that we have or return them and buy an absolute badass tent and stay in family camping at cockmills. This would be dependent on me arriving to the car park on Tuesday night and getting pitched up early Wednesday for the rest of the crew to come and join me later in the day. So my question is - on Tuesday night will it be possible to get into the car parks with immediate access to pedestrian gate B (Blue and purple arriving via Blue route I believe) or will all arriving traffic be directed to one car park? Thanks in advance!
