I'm on deemed rates since I moved in, which is basically whatever the energy cap is. The energy companies weren't offering anything other than this in terms of tariff. Am somewhat lucky in that it's only me in a tiny flat and I'm always warm at the best of times. Will just have the heating on for an hour in the morning and an hour in the evening and that'll do me fine. Worst comes to worst I'll have to stick some PJs on in bed and wear a hoody in the living room. Thankfully my mum has my little bro at home and can now ask him to pay housekeeping which will cover the increase.

Kasabian would be a good indie/rock option in the Pyramid Sub slot for me. It's a bit of a death slot but they've got the energy and live performance to get a crowd on side, as well as plenty of tunes that the casual observer will know. Not exactly hip and happening I know, but would be a good fit for the slot. Still plenty of appetite for indie rock at the festival.

Quite a lot of folk I know who didn't go this year but watched on the telly have mentioned Confidence Man. That set and the crowd going bananas for it at 2pm has obviously done wonders for their rep.

First timer this year with a ragtag group so looking forward to seeing the initial lineup drop as if it's similar to this year then we might get a fair chunk of our Glastonbury group on board.

LCD Soundsystem will never top that 2016 set at Glastonbury for me, but I'm definitely catching them whenever they tour over here, new material or not. If you know an act is ace and you're gonna love it live, why wouldn't you go? Granted I might not see a band that tours every other year every time, but I'm sure as shit catching the ones I enjoy whilst I still can.

He's a fun festival act and I've caught him in the pub before. But not quite sure why he'd get booked for a main stage though, not exactly as if he's making waves in the music scene, or there's a rarity to seeing him.

Eh I'm somewhat sceptical, can easily take it off and stick it on your ankle like some people do. The camera cut and journey through the ticket gate doesn't sit quite right or flows like it should. Too many of these camera w*nkers at the festival as it is.

Sunday West Holts headline is the dream but if they're gonna sub I'd rather it be to someone a) worth seeing and b) whose crowd would be interested in LCD.
