  1. How's your leg massage machine?
  2. A couple of hours is a bit much really. OP won't have luggage so walking will take maybe half an hour.
  3. I have that one too. I am sure I'll choose the wrong one.
  4. You know I did doubt on that one but the area is still called Williams Green I think? And I confess I am not convinced yet about this Carhenge thing 😉
  5. Yes walking is fine, stop once or twice for a drink or a bite, no problem. We did it last year with our backpacks. The shuttle takes surprisingly long, + waiting time so unless knackered/carrying much I'd go for that too.
  6. Ok you win the medal of the biggest achievement of this thread. Respect. Did you keep everything in ? 😉
  7. Both stats are quite impressive!
  8. OK a little 2023 update. Mostly cosmetic but I reduced a couple of distances. Remember it's estimates and that roundings may make look things funny, but it's more readable than 4.625 and 5.365 minutes this way. First, the average one, then the up tempo one, and finally the nightmare scenario.
  9. Congrats on the target! I haven't just/just not managed to lose a stone but am about to finalize my run 7.5 km training so definitely a plus. And some of my summer outfits I definitely couldn't fit in last year fit now like a glove. In terms of hikes Norway is AWESOME. So many and even the less popular ones, random go up a mountain from a village ones, two hours hikes are beautiful. May is great because there are barely tourists as soon as you leave the big known spots. We avoided the rain by changing our plans as needed so as good as a summer trip!
  10. Finally caught up with Succession. I am ... satisfied with that ending. Massive B-storyline HA! from me on Karolina getting Hugo his due (hopefully that's not too much of a spoiler). Otherwise still have to catch up with Yellowjackets. That season 2 is just not really where it should be. And Mrs Davies, very fun, and Class of 07, another fun show. (one needs some fun after the utter darkness of Succession)
  11. Sooo. Do we get your recommendations for Circus soon? 🙂
  12. Yeah definitely go to Psycho Acoustic Goat!
  13. Kelis Lizzo (Official co headliner...) then maybe SE or T&C QOTSA
  14. If you search the page it takes you to the 4 sets. Strummerville, rabbit hole, avalon, greenpeace. Saturday at 2300 rabbit hole for you or 17.00 at greenpeace on saturday too
  15. Oh yes. One year we didn't feel like waiting, last year we parked at WV but needed tickets from the box office, so took the shuttle but walked back because we just wanted to be IN. We don't carry food and almost no booze so it's ok. Travelling internationally does push you to pack light 🙂
  16. Brilliant, thanks! We've been at Worthy view a few times but 1st time in SL in a Yurt. Coaching it too! But we walked to WV last year from gat A so can't be much worse/we travel only with what we can carry on our back. We have a nice little camping light that will look just right in the yurt and our usual little tent flag (a green koi carp, if anyone wants to say hello) is ready 🙂 I was wondering about a little outdoor tarp indeed. Must dig in the shed for that.
  17. I just picked up two super easy tasks for today ("no really I don't mind doing it even if it's boring!") which I should be able to complete in the next two hours. Combining a decent work output and, well, the line up after that 😛
  18. Gate A to Coop is about 1200 m and Gate B at about 1400 if I see that right. There are quite some different ways to get from gate B to the coop though so it may be longer. I do have a rounding thing that does something weird and makes Gate A and B the same timings, will see if I can fix that.
  19. Am back from a trip to Norway that included various moderate hikes with moderate but good heart pumping climbs. I am pretty sure I can run up Strummerville now without breaking a sweat 😛 Some river crossings and very muddy conditions meant that I now have the footing needed SHOULD the conditions go bad at Glasto (it won't of course). No clue what happened weight wise as of course one needs calories before/during/after such efforts 😚. But because of self catering, it was all quite healthy if you don't count the snacking. I was really happy with some freeze dried meals I brought from a small dutch company. Super healthy ingredients and not just calorie bombs.
  20. Do you have any tips as we are staying in one this year? I think the top part has a transparent bit , is that right? May not want to be hit by a ray of light in the morning...
  21. @clarkete i actually already did some renaming and slight cosmetic changes. Unfortunately / fortunately I am on holiday far from the laptop I store the file on 🙂 Do we foresee any significant changes with the different paths?
  22. I thought it was just for kids...? 😮
  23. Weird isn't it? I really struggled sunday when the temp was about that. Then yesterday, light rain and 15 degrees.... So easy!
  24. I'm interested in this too. Unless they make a path through Pylon's Stewart camping the above seems much more logical. I'm half hoping that Seetickets asking how we're going to WV/Sticklinch at some point in the booking /ordering process will show that it's worth making Coach travellers walk a little easier.
