Yoghurt on a Stick
I've had computer problems. Only just back from the abyss of not being on line. That's both in terms of electrical apparatus, and brain activity. I think we can all agree that the Varta B34 is a fine looking battery. Hope you all had a fab Christmas. Don't let Neil read this I do get what you mean; vw's tend to be a tad lacking in character, a bit cut & paste so to speak. I still wouldn't mind owning one though

I've got a long wheeled based Ford Transit conversion, and feel that that is too small.

Only car is a Ford Fiesta Both surmountable. 1. You can store your caravan at secure sites. I keep mine on one at Magor near the Severn Bridge. Cost, typically, about £250 a year. 2. Look at lightweight caravans, particularly those made by Lunar (a lightweight specialist). They were well made and oldies can still be OK but, as with all caravans, check for damp - the caravan killer. Or 3. Consider going for a trailer tent. That's where I started my caravanning with one that folded down small enough to be stored in mother in law's garage. Can be picked up for a couple of hundred quid. My TT folded out to give two double beds with a zip on awning (all part of the package) that had a kitchen, big communal area, where a couple more could sleep and a good sized social area. You'll be amazed at the amount of room you have in side... You can get them quite cheap as well..
