As these are starting to get established, I thought we should have a new thread this year.

First Sheffield announcement soon. Who would we like to see?

The Streets announced for Norwich a few weeks ago.

Having checked the lyrics, pretty sure you're right. Oh well... maybe the 3rd one will be more my taste!

I saw him supporting Oasis. I enjoyed it. Liked the hits but don’t feel like I need to see him again.
It feels nothing as big QOTSA so far this year. Maybe bigger to come

The Kooks, The Vaccines doing their debut in full is pretty decent. Ashcroft is also selling out arenas as big as he's been for years. If anything, QOTSA accepting two signs at Don Valley Bowl and only selling one out goes to suggest they aren’t the pull they were. They are even allowing themselves to be a sub for SOAD stadium shows next year which is also a big sub for SOAD to have chosen for those but then look at the likes of who Foos chose and other for Stadium Shows and they need need as big. MCR not even revealed, LP was only Spiritbox.

I have seen Ashcroft a few times and not fussed for Fratelli's or Cast so probably won't bother with this one.  Nonetheless a decent booking even if not for me.

Been to a few of the different R&R Circus last couple of years so hopefully something more of interest on the Saturday when announced as it is a great setup.

I fear it will be so. Which means none for me this year.

All depends on the undercard for me as not too bothered for either Richard Ashcroft or Reytons although did enjoy both more than I expected at their respective Tramlines performances.

Wunderhorse popped into my head (only playing APE so far, might want to see how they fair as a bigger ticket seller with other limited dates) but yeah, Reytons probably makes the most sense.

    • RIP Roy Hattersley
    • Proper special gig tonight. They won't mean much to most people, but The Dogs D'Amour were one of the most significant bands of my youth.   Tyla, yer main man of said band, was playing in Birkenhead tonight. Not many there, but it was going fine. Then he decided he didn't like the smoke and the flashing lights so suggested moving the gig to the beer garden. Off we all went, and it was magical. Like having your favourite musician play in your garden. I absolutely loved it.   Before:     After:
