Yep,

 

They haven’t released a full map yet, but Lions den will be back and in its old

location.

 

There’s a map on their planning application with stage location so looks like it will be back to the precovid layout with some updated districts

Find it kinda interesting they've announced Andy C before the actual announcement tomorrow? Don't really know why they'd do that but can't help but wonder if there's some surprises to come. Maybe just overly optimistic but it is Lion's Den after all! 🤞

Andy C on lions Den is a weird one I’d always think it’s more traditionally live bands on there, might be their trying to have more of a split across the site to ease crowding, saw someone suggested it’s so they can have late night headliners clashing (Skrillex vs Andy C).

 

Having said that Groove Armada, gorillaz etc have all been on lions den

 Im pretty happy with the line up first time back to Boomtown in a while - you dont need massive big names to have a great line up -  What they have chosen is stacked with quality 

 

For no particular reason and in no order the 10 acts im most looking forward to at this point

As there isn’t a designated Drum and Bass stage this year, they are splitting that crowd across the site hence it being on the Lions Den. To be fair, they moved the Drum and bass djs there in 2019 when they closed Origin due to the weather and it worked really well on the Lions Den so should be good

Well that's the opposite of surprises, is Sub Focus the only new name? Still don't get why they pre-announced Andy C, maybe they posted it accidentally. Honestly I'd wondered if they'd drop a Prodigy or Pendulum as a big closing act now they've got a proper high-cap band venue again but alas! the dream lives on for another year.

 

Still it's a pretty decent lineup and I'm not really complaining. Agree the mix worked well in 2019 but wonder how the timetabling will work out. I don't think Lion's Gate was a particularly well designed stage last year, certainly not my favourite evolution. Wonder how it'll change for '26 to really work for both bands and DJs. Honestly would prefer the old LD set!

 

Also quite a few names here I'd thought would've been on Grand Central. Vengaboys I'm looking at you.

yeah Vengaboys on a smaller stage (grand central?) is going to lead to issues, will be like the crowd for vengaboys at download, couldn’t get near the entrance to the tent!

otherwise only having one main stage going after 23:00 seems like a recipe for overcrowding everywhere
