Not sure if Maccabees are too big for the Thursday slot, not a band that has ever really been on my radar (same as The Reytons).

Yeah, I think a few bands are hard to place because they're bigger in the North vs South. Like for eg, The Reytons would work as a headliner at Kendal but not Truck. I had them down for the Friday but they couldn't do that as that is when they headline YNOT.

 

One curveball I think that could be considered is Jamiroquai. He's done these sort of fests before, on tour around the end of June/start of July so isn't too far away, never played Kendal (to my knowledge) and would work perfectly above a sub like Scissor Sisters on the Friday.

Most Years there has been a headliner that doesn't fit the indie mould, but coudn't think who that would be this year.

I thought Faithless but I feel like in 2026 they probably wouldn't headline, so maybe Jamiroquai is a good rogue shout.

Yellow is Headlined year before headlining Kendal.

So likely to be sharing a headliner with Truck and 1 or 2 with Y Not and other Superstruct festivals not really that relevant

Great work that mate. My big take away from that is that Kendal seems to have one that the others do not. I know someone else mentioned them further up but Snow Patrol haven't done it yet despite doing nearly all the rest, and they're about doing Splendour in Nottingham the week before. 

 

Would be fine with me despite not being the most exciting booking if they get the rest of the line up right. Always enjoy them live usually.

Not work that is, TDCC, Ashcroft, Snow Patrol and Reytons on Thursday i reckon would be a decent set

I have heard J Kay mentioned elsewhere on social media so could be interesting and as said previously a good foil for Scissor Sisters supporting.

  I will counter that with the fact the guy who said this also said Duran Duran as far fetched as may sound I wouldn't be totally avers to this being a 50 something 😂

if you go to @gavinleighdavis on instagram he’s started to leak acts on his story, done the same with Ynot, Truck and Tramlines - so far he’s referenced Biffy, Scissor Sisters and Black Keys

Well I guess they were bound to turn up somewhere else given Victorious was not billed as a UK exclusive show.

Black Keys is peculiar, don't know that they have that much support over here, however could just be my own ignorance.

 

Biffy would be a great pick up though.

I think they used to be bigger than they are and have a few decent tunes. Think they’ll do fine alongside Biffy if they’ve got them, amazing booking.

I'd love to see Lloyd Cole and Hard-Fi and a few of the other supporting acts, but not enough to make a whole weekend of it. Honestly, I'm feeling relieved, because I think the online queue for tickets tomorrow will be madness.
