Campervan Crew 2025

Now the sales and resales for tickets and accommodation I thought I'd start a thread for this years Campervan/B&W lot.

The tickets seemed to go pretty sharpish today, and I noticed that B&W sold out of their regular pitches?

I thought they hadn't sold out until just before the festival in previous years?

Looking forward to the Tuesday morning drive now. We're stopping at a premier inn on the way down on Monday night ready for the last stint before arriving!

We’ll be there! Sorted our east quiet out so we have an east general to put back in the pot or sell

Oh excellent.

As we're in 2 motorhomes we're sticking with general but getting there pretty early

Good spot about B&W, that was definitely the case last year. I wonder if it's down to reduced capacity in East Quiet due to the new Festivue Glamping Site?

Do you get more of the therapeutic hum of the SE corner in 21?

I'm can't wait for new map day to see if any changes are visible on there.

Is Accepted the same entry route and time as the rest of us?

Bit of a palaver this year as our group didn’t get tickets. Now i’m getting a ticket from a mate who is performing, but that means I can’t buy a van pass as don’t have a registration number.

Now hoping that his agent manages to sort me a van spot in the backstage area 🤞 not sure what i’ll do if not! (Slum it in a tent with the proletariat I guess 😜)

If not, I'm sure you'll be able to pick a CV ticket on here without too much bother

In the B&W this year, reduced the awning on the CV, so saved £100 getting a regular plot instead of large.

Which is a shame, as two times in a row managed to be located in exactly the same spot arriving on Tuesday, with loads of space, 1 min walk to porterloos/water point, but most importantly 2 mins to the showers and coach pick up point.

Hope the regular spot we get is not too far away. Considering coming earlier and earlier on the Tuesday now.....

Any one arrived on Tuesday with a regular booking? What kind of spot did you get?

Also, don't understand the hate for B&W. Stayed in both, but the space, quiet and showers (and proper bogs) at B&W wins for me, despite the shuttle bus.

👋🏻

We're in a 2 van convoy into CVE quiet. Reduced group numbers due to other plans, and very lucky to be here again as we got our festival/cv tickets on Sunday after missing out in November.

I can hear it when wearing my hearing aids but not without them, being deaf has it's advantages! 🤣 It doesn't keep my husband awake and a therapeutic hum is a good description!

Yes, we need the map!

I am guessing you mean Accessible, and yes same time and route for all East CV. 😊

Haha blooming autocorrect!

Excellent, I'm managed to change it from a Tues e evening arrival to a Tuesday 10am arrival! If it was left to me, I'd be on the lane at 9am

What sort of time do you normally rock up at the site?  I only live about an hour and a half away and was thinking of getting there for around 9.  Will we be allowed on site then, or turned away do you know?

So back in November I managed to get through for a CV Pass in East General for an efests member. Unfortunately I managed to get through just as she did and the result was 2 CV passes.

I have just heard back from See and I'm able to transfer the one that I bought to another 'friend'... Anybody needing a CV Pass in East General that missed out on Sunday feel free to give me a shout.

Anyone have a view on CVE versus CVE Quiet? We have a quiet ticket currently and plan to arrive early on the Tuesday as we are staying at a site in Cheddar on the Monday. It's only 2 of us so it won't be a mad party at our van but I also don't want to be staying in the campsite equivalent of a library.

We did CVE (E17)  in 2017 and I don't recall much madness going on at all in the campervan fields.  There were people playing some tunes during breakfast and before going on site but nothing was overly loud.  It would be a bit mad to stay and party at your van when you have the world's best festival going on 15 minutes away.  I don't think CVE quiet was a thing back then but it did seem to have more families in it, and it's 5-10 minutes closer to PGC.

ironically, the Quiet fields are much nearer Iicon etc so you get lulled to sleep by the bass (assuming you go to bed before 6am)

I can't comment on what your fellow campers are like as I just use my caravan as a bed, I'm back on site after a coffee in the mornings

I find it very quiet. Dunno about other areas.

    • Proper special gig tonight. They won't mean much to most people, but The Dogs D'Amour were one of the most significant bands of my youth.   Tyla, yer main man of said band, was playing in Birkenhead tonight. Not many there, but it was going fine. Then he decided he didn't like the smoke and the flashing lights so suggested moving the gig to the beer garden. Off we all went, and it was magical. Like having your favourite musician play in your garden. I absolutely loved it.   Before:     After:
