Yeah, really good. I'm doing all 3 UK shows. Production isn't up there with Parkway or Bring Me, but it is really cool. Whole arena floor back to the sound tower was a pit. Ziggo is really cool too as it is a wider arena, so it felt a bit more intimate. Sam sounded great and the band sounded tight and heavy too.

Good to hear, looking forward to it tomorrow. Not caught one of their own gigs yet but saw them supporting Biffy and they were excellent then. Still can’t get over how big Co-op Live is, that feels like a wide arena too.

As below. They definitely aren't a band that would have had trouble playing two days running either like some do and if anything they were more likely to be Sunday. Would be odd to need to make a change for a crossover festival like Download where they could have played both across that weekend comfortably as it was. I can see one of the other one's around but further away having booked them.

No chance Avalanche. They also will have already been booked for Download if playing so they will have been doing accordingly already. It puts doubt in it.

They're a cut and dry Other Stage band. Too big for Avalanche not big enough for Main.

They are big enough for main if they are 4th down. If they play Saturday they are literally going to play the same day as last time but one slot up which doesn't really make sense and again a shift of days wouldn't have been needed for that to happen. Play Nova Friday, play Download Saturday or Sunday. In fact, RA played higher up at Nova Thursday last year and still 4th down main stage the next day at Download and that's even less time between.

Those sort of bookings are exactly what they need to keep the festival moving in an interesting direction imo

Not a case of definitely not not reason to change based on it being Download. There is a festival in Norway or Greenfield they could be play.

No Doubt aren't a booking Download would make. It's would be their own shown no doubt.

Gojira touring with Metallica aren’t they so defo won’t be at Download. Alice Cooper will likely be there or has a good chsnce o be there.

Muse/NIN/GNR for me

 

Muse and NIN I have seen already but theyre incredible live and I know GNR isn't a popular option here but I still haven't managed to catch them live so it is what it is. I have to admit that I just don't think Ghost have the tunes, I also don't think LP is that good in their current state and I don't think LB is as good as any of the other bands listed. So this is ultimately my ideal lineup from the bands listed.

still fairly certain gnr are about to announce their north america 2026 tour, so it would be really strange that theyre at download. the chances of a european exclusive in 2026 is impossible. the costs associated with getting to europe / uk from america now make it completely unrealistic. linkin park limp bizkit and NiN seems much more likely. though it wont sell as well as gnr would.
