That Saturday would be one of the worst days Download has done for my music taste, absolutely dross. That Sunday would be great for me though

Yeah, that Saturday is nightmare fuel, just like the last time GNR played (APC aside, though).

 

If the lineup was like that, I doubt I’d be going for the weekend. Would likely just be a Friday day ticket.

Sunday is almost as rubbish as Saturday for me and saved only by Bad Omens. I’d leave as soon as they were done and you couldn’t pay me to watch The Pretty Reckless and Ice Nine Kills.

Yup and that's what is taking The Offspring out, not that they were returning to sub after 2 years, no band ever has for a while at least.

Halestorm would be subbing now. Yeah Bad Omens are the one likely. I think this is where Marilyn Manson comes in having not be announced for Greenfield either. It's not looking great either way. That Sunday Andre has put out is terrible, which isn't reflective on his prediction mind.

Never buy a Download ticket this early early, it's 100% the biggest bargain festival ticket you'll pick up later. I got 2023 a week before the festival for £190 lol and that was a 5 day even though I didn't use it for 5 days. It's the one festival you could twickets every year without fail.

 

There are a few reasons to believe so far that Download will fail in lineup quality vs RAR/Nova already. Both are 100% having better headliners and subs overall.

Yeah think next time I’ll be waiting until week of to get the ticket haha it’s a shame because this year for me was really good loads of bands I wanted to see.

 

But with the headliners being who they probably are and the same with subs that Saturday Andre has suggested is up there with the worst days I could imagine (nothing against the prediction he’s probably right) 

 

Be interesting to see the reaction online if the lineup is dead. Thing is though until there’s a realistic UK competitor for alternative music on the grand stage they won’t change they know they can churn out dross lineups and people will still go.

I didn’t see many bargains this year, although I wasn’t looking too hard. My mate dropped out so I took his at full whack!

 

Leeds is always a bargain, £195 last year and £205 this year for me.
