You don't book two stadium rock bands (GnR being notoriously expensive as is)

 

Although Would Ghost/Maiden/LP (the original rumor) be much cheaper 

 

Overall I think it's LB/GnR/LP, it's just been spread around too much. I feel like if we had someone else we would have heard something by now.

 

Have we had any other rumor aside from that main one?

I mainly don't want it to be LB/GnR/LP because I don't want that guy on reddit who tells everyone that's the lineup and gets standoffish with anyone who dares question it to win

I reckon they’re gonna pull it out the bag. The lack of leaks and the hype behind the announcement has me hopeful they’ve got some bands none of us has thought about. I do reckon the headliners will be weak but the undercard is going to be excellent.

It's unlikely imo but AC/DC, Ghost, Linkin Park - pretty decent imo

At this point I'm more interested in the undercard. Headliner pool seems to be set, but from doing the math there's plenty of logo sized acts in Europe next summer that simply won't be available.

 

Thinking we might end up with a few complete wildcards who aren't about anywhere else. Maybe someone like Primus, or the return of Andrew WK?

Volbeat, Trivium, Megadeth, ADTR, Marilyn Manson, Alice Cooper, Bad Omens and Ice Nine Kills. I'd expect 6 of those 8 to be subs and second stage. Be a surprise if it's outside of those but not necessarily a bad surprise.

AC/DC is US and South America dates but you never know. The timing is interesting and there are rumours of additional EU dates for them.

I think its crazy we are at announcement day without any leaks. Usually someone throws the poster around by now 😅 i dont wanna wait till 9pm. Its driving me crazy

Imagine the scenes if it's Linkin Park, Foo Fighters and AC/DC. Limp Bizkit, NIN and Ghost subbing (well, AC/DC wouldn't officially be headliners, again).
