Saw people bring up Biffy as an option because of the R+L hint but don't they have a tour next year?

I wouldn’t rule them out but think they’re at the bottom of likeliness from the R&L options because they have the tour at start of the year. Doesn’t make a lot of sense booking them as headliners people who want to see them will have already seen them on the tour. Plus played DL in 2022 and by all accounts (I didn’t go) it didn’t go well in terms of people who saw them numbers wise. I like Biffy seeing them on the tour so I’d rather them then someone like GnR or Tool but that’s just me.

Massive damp squid lol, that's how it went. I still think they could get booked as a special guest under Foos at Reading which is what they were going to be by all accounts.

AHIG is where I stopped liking Slipknot at the time tbh. It took WANYK to drag me back in, then TESF had me walking away again. Would still go see them live, just don't look forward to any new music.

They just whacked The End, So Far out to finish their obligations to RoadRunner. They basically said it was unfinished when it came out. I'm really interested to hear what they do with Eloy as I think it has the potential to be amazing.

Their first album with Eloy is definitely something they're going to take their time with

Take it with a pinch of salt, but someone on the Primavera Sound forum has a leak for their lineup. Shows Nine Inch Nails as being in Europe next June...

I think that adds less credibility to Iron Maiden at RAR. They have shared a headliner 1 of the last 3 years but it's not regular.

Was a fairly logical guess to be fair, gives some credibility to the LB to download rumours anyway

It does. They have shared a headliner the past 3 years but it doesn't mean it's that one. It's actually usually a big one. Also to add, LB have never played Norway it seems until this show.

If they’ve booked Guns N Roses over Nine Inch Nails that’s the biggest fumble ever although GNR probably sell more tickets.

Ghost - Nine Inch Nails - Linkin Park would actually be a decent 3

I like NiN but are they that big in the UK? they'd be a 3rd headliner size. i can't see the market. they're not 'monsters of rock' they're not really 'nu metal' and they're not fresh and young.

Nine Inch Nails in Manchester in June 2025 - Tickets, Prices and Booking

They sold out their 2 UK shows this year pretty damn quickly tbf

fair. i guess they havent over saturated the market here so there's a bit of allure. i went to every download from 2010-2019 then again in 22, and lusted from 2006, so im used to seeing massive massive names at the festival. its a shame the festival scene is dying with mid size bands all playing stadiums and getting money that way

    • World Cup 2026: What is happening with ticket prices? - BBC Sport   Sounds like Infantino has been learning from his buddy if he's running around claiming its all sold out while quietly dumping tickets below face on assorted secondary websites.
    • Mac DeMarco also cancelled
    • I'm British so it very much would apply for me.   I mean, it's a moot point as I don't have tickets so will not be in town for this, but I've heard reports of lengthy queues and given I remember Lisbon Airport having a long queue at arrivals even pre-EES when I went in 2023, I seem to guess it might be quite the wait, depending on flight paths.   Certainly, the worst I've had pre-EES was a 45 minute wait for a stamp at Valencia Airport in Spain, where 4 flights to non-EU destinations in quick succession were placed one after the other. So I can't say I'm enthusiastic about what's in store. Or you know. Maybe I'm just overthinking it.
    • Out of interest keep seeing messages saying last 12 hours etc… to buy you full weekend tickets.  Whats that about? Do they take them off sale early?
