Take it with a pinch of salt, but someone on the Primavera Sound forum has a leak for their lineup. Shows Nine Inch Nails as being in Europe next June...

Honestly it's great we're about a month or two from the headliners being announced and we still have no real clue who all 3 could be.

Nine Inch Nails would be a great headliner.

If Tuesday goes as expected we could potentially end up with Nine Inch Nails/Foo Fighters/Linkin Park

I would love that as the three!

Here for Nine Inch Nails headlining, I do wonder whether they’d accept it though not playing in the dark, think it would make the show less enjoyable. If it was NIN / Linkin Park who would be most suitable as the 3rd?

Any festivals they've played in the UK previously they've played fully fully during the day so I think they'd be fine accepting it. 3rd headliner ideally is Foo Fighters

Whilst I’d love Foos I just don’t see them doing Download they’d rather do R&L.

NIN would fit the clue given (if true) about debut album before 1991.

Final headliner Blink? Played R&L in last 4 years.

That hint really only permits - Blink, Biffy, BMTH or Limp Bizkit in my view.

I would vote Bizkit - NIN - LP as a solid festival set of three.

It won't be them three

I saw them for about half an hour at Leeds 2013 but it was absolutely nailing it down with rain and was muddy af. I left 😂

To be fair they were really restricted with that appearance so I think a headline set on their current tour would be perfect, they play lots/all the hits too which isn’t always the case for them. The videography on this tour is like a holiday film, immense.

As a headliner too I suppose it makes sense they would for the money and playing last, I just think their show suits total darkness for the whole set/atmosphere.

Yeah that’d be solid.

This ‘hint’ could (and like does) mean absolutely nothing.

This, it could be complete bollocks. I think it could possibly be Ghost and they don’t fit any of the clues. I wonder whether they’d deem Ghost - NIN - LP as a good 3

Blink - NIN - LP would be a fantastic trio which is why it won't happen lol

Would be an incredible 3 if the rumours were true. Still just can’t see Blink touring into the summer next year. We’ll find out this week though because if they’re about no doubt they’ll be headlining Rock Am Ring/Im Park so if they’re aren’t announced for that I doubt they’ll be about.

LB included stops it being a solid 3 purely for the fact they've not stopped touring since 23 in the UK. It would be a actually be as tired and as used booking as they could do, even if it was a replacement. BMTH would be poor too, UK dates since 2021 making it 6 years running touring with 3 years ok the same album after 3 years on tbe previous album.

NIN, Ghost and LP would be current best with that's around I know of. It wouldn't be for me but it's not a prediction based on what I want.

Ghost+Linkin Park with the 3rd headliner being either NIN or Foo Fighters is the ideal scenario

If they’ve booked Guns N Roses over Nine Inch Nails that’s the biggest fumble ever although GNR probably sell more tickets.

Ghost - Nine Inch Nails - Linkin Park would actually be a decent 3

Ghost, NIN and Linkin Park is exactly the kind of headliner run they should be aiming for.

You've got one band who's been on the rise for a few years (Ghost), a band who's been given a well deserved bump up (NIN) and a well established, safe headliner (Linkin Park). That's exactly what a festival needs to do to survive, rather than relying on the same old rotation.

GNR come to the UK and do stadiums every couple of years don't they? Why do people think they wouldn't be able to do DL? They just headlined Glasto a couple years ago too.

Because the were bad by all accounts at Glasto and their stadium tour. Their fans will have seen them and if they’re view is they’re bad why would you spend money to see them again?
