They won’t do BMTH / Architects again.

I would lose my head for that Sunday. The perfect sub and headliner for me.

In fairness I think Architects might be future headliner level now in 2-3 years. Could replace them with Motionless in White, A Day to Remember, We Came as Romans or something similar.

My gut is really saying Tool is there now.

Could we get Foo Fighters...with their new rebrand as rock n roll preservers? New material due too...

It's possible. With the current clues we've been given though it would leave little room to fit them in as they formed in 1994 and last played Reading and Leeds in 2019

Cannibal Corpse are too big for the Dogtooth

Other festivals have no issues booking them without changing anything

DL would have to shorten the hour’s gap between the sub and the headliner and even that would only give them two hours.

If they could compromise - DL get Foos and they don’t do 500 solos and extended outros - I’d be all for it

Praying that Tool get announced for Rock AM Ring next week. Give us a day like this:

Tool

Alice In Chains

Killswitch Engage

Mastodon

Kublai Khan TX

Body Count

Unto Others

Employed To Serve

Tool is not a band for a festivals, very boring. Their arena gigs are completely different experience

Disagree, their headline set in 2019 was outstanding. People say the same about NIN and yet the best set I’ve ever seen them do was outdoors at the Eden project, and half of that was in daylight.

Clue was debut album came out before 1991 rules Tool out I believe. It’ll be Guns N Roses people.

Unless they announce a new album or final tour GnR just seems a really odd choice.

Would leave the last headliner as Limp Bizkit or Blink 182 since it needs to be someone new and has played Reading and Leeds recently

Pretty disappointing for Kam to say we've got 3 incredible headliners and two of them end up being Limp Bizkit and Guns n Roses

Best prediction I’ve seen. Outstanding stuff.

MIW > BO > NIN is a brilliant Friday

Hot Milk > Yungblud > Trivium > Blink is lovely too

Architects > EC > early night 👌

    • Tonight was a disgrace. There wasn't *that* much rain, and it wasn’t *that* windy. A festival of this size should be able to withstand some adverse weather without it bringing the whole circus to a standstill. And if it is true that part of a speaker on the Revolut stage fell…   As for the communication - announcing Massive Attack were playing at 12:30 and then nothing for over an hour while people waited in the rain. It’s laughable it really is.   If I said I’ll never come back again I’d be lying. The shambles of Barcelona 2022 and the disgrace of Madrid 2023 didn’t stop me, so this probably won’t either.   This festival gets so much wrong, but it is always saved by having such killer line-ups. It’s just a shame it treats the fans/customers/consumers like animals. Compare it to somewhere like Glastonbury and it’s worlds apart.
    • Yeah, I admit that a small part of me felt relieved when they announced that MA are canceled.. But on the positive side- got to see Florence Road afterall, and they were great
    • Glad I could take the €3 bus to Playa Catalunya! Hope y'all warm and dry up.
