can't stand how there's the huge space left of the stage but not in view. Creates a right crush to get in view of the stage.

That's fair - I was in that section when I saw Chvrches in 2022. Meant I stood at angle which also meant the speaker I was standing by gave me a full blast of sound, although given it was my first big scale show 2 1/2 years thanks to the pandemic, I kinda initially thought it was just rustiness at being out of practice for these shows.

Surprised the cardboard cutout didn't get further price cuts given how his move from Liverpool to Saudi seemed to annoy a lot of people.

Ah, he's football related! I had no idea when I was adding Hendos to my basket earlier this week 🤣

Self Esteem ??

That was one that crossed my mind as she's putting out bits of new material and apparently working on an album. Not sure how she'd feel about pink though - a bit clichéd. I might be reading too much into, but the colour is a strong departure from previous more muted tones.

"3 of the most requested headliners"

Well, the most requested headliner is AM, by a mile, but obviously will never be them. Not sure Reytons or Self-Esteem qualify if that's the criteria, but ultimately it's just marketing speak I suppose, and I'm sure they'll justify the headliners as "most requested" if a single person has tweeted at them to "get Reytons headlining".

And Pulp.

They're not managing expectations!

Just had a thought - the pink logo could also hint at Pulp...

And they have headlined NBHD, plus done Scarborough, so not out of the question

I personally think there's no chance of Pulp.

Reckon Reytons, Fatboy Slim and another headliner from Truck/Kendal/Y Not will headline.

I really cannot stand the Reytons but there is most definitely a draw there

If Reytons is the best they can do, it'll likely be a no from me this year, and I've been to more Tramlines than I care to remember

    • Tonight was a disgrace. There wasn't *that* much rain, and it wasn’t *that* windy. A festival of this size should be able to withstand some adverse weather without it bringing the whole circus to a standstill. And if it is true that part of a speaker on the Revolut stage fell…   As for the communication - announcing Massive Attack were playing at 12:30 and then nothing for over an hour while people waited in the rain. It’s laughable it really is.   If I said I’ll never come back again I’d be lying. The shambles of Barcelona 2022 and the disgrace of Madrid 2023 didn’t stop me, so this probably won’t either.   This festival gets so much wrong, but it is always saved by having such killer line-ups. It’s just a shame it treats the fans/customers/consumers like animals. Compare it to somewhere like Glastonbury and it’s worlds apart.
    • Yeah, I admit that a small part of me felt relieved when they announced that MA are canceled.. But on the positive side- got to see Florence Road afterall, and they were great
    • Glad I could take the €3 bus to Playa Catalunya! Hope y'all warm and dry up.
