I mean thats a random account with a random cryptic post..I’d take it with a grain of salt

Not a reason to ignore it though, we are 36 hours away from an announcement so more people are likely to know something as marketing assets start being prepared.

Don't forget about this. The Script would headline the festival, right? So ✍️ was not for them then

I wouldn't be so sure about them being headliners. more like a strong sub, like where Bebe Rexha and Raye were placed last year. same would go for NBT/Franz Ferdinand imho

I mean yea, I wouldn't want them to be "rock headliner", but last year was weaker in the sense of headliners, so that's why I am thinking they would get headline/co-headline slot, idk

Two years ago, the first clue was for Billie Eilish, and last year it was for Fred again.. and Lana Del Rey (although she didn’t come in the end). That’s why I am so sure the first clue this year was also for the strong/strongest headliner (Shawn Mendes) and not for someone like The Script or London Grammar

Newcastle

I wish it was Serge Pizzorno and Leicester then. But it's probably Sam Fender.

There is no Sziget line up without him recently (even though he didn't always end up performing).

Van Buuren and Justice are all but confirmed from the hints. Is there any chance they would be sub-headliners?

Then your ACC is Post Malone (A), Chappell Roan (C) and either Charli or Sabrina Carpenter

Armin, Post Malone (Austin) or Ava Max for A

Chappell Roan, Charli XCX, Sabrina Carpenter or Chainsmokers for C

I was looking at Post Malone's recent setlist. I mean I obviously knew he is promoting his new album but like he is playing 14 !! songs from this absolute ass record (for me anyway as I despise country more than anything) - no way he does this at the festival as well, right?

I mean it's completely different from what he has been doing before this album. Would he play 14 songs from an album that is a completely different genre from what he got famous for at a festival? I hope not...

Yeah.. I just checked his setlist and 14 out out of 22 songs are from his latest album.. damn I really got excited to see him again, I enjoyed his set at sziget in 2019, but now.. I'm a bit worried how his set will look, he's not preforming one of his most famous songs like circles, wow., goodbyes, go flex, psycho.. 😶 I guess we just need to wait and see how his set at coachella will turn out

    • Ann and Nancy Wilson are planning a final world tour for HEART starting next year. They were never at Glastonbury. They should do it.
    • sub yes I could see but I don't think they get 1hr 15, a headliner starting at 18:15 though is unlikely. Even the recent co-headlines that have had like 1hr 15 then a 1hr 30 after were on 8pm or just before, you are trailing behind more than 1.5 hours then. In that scenario some 3rd down bands are only starting at 18:15 and some haven't lol. I agree they won't not book them due to this but it won't be 6 headliners. It would be 5 headliners and you wouldn't want to see 5 headliners booked but Biffy were to not be thouhgt of as an option for one. Wolf Alice on the other hand could sub no bother and you'd think nothing of it. I'm not so sure Biffy would get headline though after the festival choice in Kendal this year.
    • Definitely. UKIP also used Merkel welcoming 1 million Afgans to Europe in 2015 during the brexit vote.   Politicians in other countries within the EU know the are going to lose voters to parties to the right of them over stuff like this and they've no control over it.
    • I think it will very much vary on who there is to book who they know will sell out a day.    They’ve co-headline and full headline stuff in future, there no reason at all they won’t do it again, even if it means cutting someone’s set by 15 mins or having a band less in a big bands day…   They’re not going to not book Foo fighters and instead get the equivalent of Florence and C&S just to not have a band do a big set…   …unless of course they think it will make them more money…
