Breaking News: The Justice Department called for the breakup of Live Nation Entertainment, the company that owns Ticketmaster, claiming it has an illegal monopoly in live entertainment

there's no reason why it should effect or change anything in the UK if it is broken up in the states, if they agree to break themselves up, they'll do it in the most advantageous way (as others have done, bell are no longer dominant in us telecoms :P) , which probably means they'll try to keep profitable structures in place where they can (europe!).

I guess the fact that we can still buy tickets from other primary vendors to Ticketmaster here in the UK helps, given it's market position in the USA is much more dominant.

Anything that happens in the USA is unlikely to change much of how LN operates in the UK. Reckon they might avoid the breakup  because the charge is poorly worded. And I reckon they can justify what they do, "getting the best for the artist". There's no real need to own TM so they might be forced to sell that. LN likes it as a cash reserve it can borrow from at zero interest.
