Do we know the date?

As I bought an Early Bird ticket for BKS24 back in June, I got an email a couple of days ago offering me the chance to pre-book the fixed accommodation (pre-pitched tents, cabins, etc.). That offer ends at noon next Monday 27th, so I would assume the announcement and general sale will start very shortly (if not immediately) after that. Possibly an announcement Monday morning, then sales start at noon...

Wonder if Pulp are turning up here? Thought they were nailed on for Best Kept Secret and then didn't turn up there, didn't appear on DTRH either.

Definitely - I expected The National for PP. Noticed Bikini Kill are now doing a run of European dates in June.

Arcade Fire as a headliner and Pulp in the sub??

I get the impression many festivals (not all) may still be reluctant to book Arcade Fire until the Win Butler stuff is resolved (or goes away long enough....).

And if the big headliner who everybody is waiting for was Bruno Mars. Maybe he asked Festivals who he'll perform to announce him first. Maybe it's the reason why there is nothing announce for Pinkpop, Mad Cool, Main Square, Werchter Boutique...

Is Bruno Mars going on tour??

Seeing as a few festivals booked them last year and they're doing a few more events this year (all of the Lollapalooza SA festivals, for one), it feels like a few bookers have already decided to go through with their reputation management, whether its wanted or not.

    • I'm surprised they risked it, especially after nearly missing their Glasto 22 slot under similar circumstances  I did see someome say Ellie didnt sound as strong as recently but I'm guessing playing 3 shows in 2 different continents doesnt help that    On the topic though I can definitely see them doing a Fontaines and having a break over winter before a few final Clearing shows next summer
    • That's fair on WA - I did recall people thinking Fontaines would take this year off before this was announced.    On the subject of Wolf Alice, they did Lollapalooza in Chicago on Saturday then Kendal Calling last night. Bit of an odd choice, no? Half imagine at Kendal that they would've been just exhausted.
    • Just logged onto the app to start planning my days and there really are a LOT of stages missing. Apart from the Seaside Stage there is no Casemates this year etc. Apart from the Seaside Stage, there are no Casemates this year, etc. Can't see anything about the kids field really. And there's local acts that are normally there like Kojak's Revenge that aren't appearing either.  Normally we get down fairly early but I can't see anything before 3pm I'm keen to see. Only one real clash as well, which is good, but it's thin and it's not thin in the sense of "I've seen a lot of these acts before"
