That lineup is all over the place! They might be needing a lot of day ticket sales this year. For me, Friday good, Saturday dire, Sunday OK. Hope they've got a few rabbits for the second announcement. I'll be going because it's local, but might otherwise have been in 2 minds about a full weekend.

You don't have to go to a local festival if you don't think it's any good.

Two things spring to mind.

Money issues for Superstruct - losses/costs from last year's weather situation. See also cancelling Bluedot for this year.

A lot of artists going down the single day / headline route and thereby reducing the talent pool for mid size festivals.

I don't, but there's just about enough there for me to justify the early bird ticket price, and there'll be plenty of people I know, plus lesser incidental cost for travel and food etc.

I'm more likely to ditch YNot, as I really don't need to see Jamie T twice, although their undercard can be a lot stronger.

Just checked last year's first announcement. This year's has a notable absence of comedy. Hope that doesn't mean it's off. I need something to pass the time on the Saturday.

Same thoughts re line up.

On reflection Friday is stacked.  Saturday nothing until The Snuts which is crazy and a mixed bag Sunday.

Desperately in need of some additional acts on the Saturday which is very week.  If not can see the Public Houses of Hillsborough Park having a very busy day.

Actually wondering whether we'll even bother going in on Saturday at the moment. Ticket sales seem to be reflecting the general feelings re the lineup. I think they've massively mis-judged it, and/or their audience for Saturday.

Hoping for some decent comedy at least.

Jamie T, Tom Grennan and The Snuts decent but the rest of the line up for a Saturday - wow !!

We've got tickets as we are local and have always gone, but yeah, outside of these 3 the Saturday is probably one of the worst (if not the worst) that they've ever had. Going to need something pretty good to pull it back IMO. Friday line-up blinds the Saturday for me.

And I'm not a fan of Jamie T or Tom Grennan, so really scratching around for something to make it work for me!

Same with us re locality.  Friday is pretty stacked for me.  I usually fill all 3 days with bands but Saturday looks a struggle.  Saying that might give me the option for a wander round for a change rather than rushing between acts.

Yeah that's actually a good point. We usually have the Saturday as our 'child-free' day but our 7-year-old daughter is coming with us this year as she's a massive Tom Grennan fan so it'll be a little different for us this year regardless.
