There is an even spread for everyday this year rather than being massively weighted on the Friday, with 6 or so acts I would go to see without doing any listening research. For me 86tvs are a must being such a big maccabees fan when they were around.

Looks like BBC are playing Deershed fest on the Saturday night and rock oyster fest on Sunday so should definitely be Friday night at tramlines

I only saw the tramlines date and after glasto announcing The ChurnUps, made me wonder if we had a similar situation.

100% agree here. If there was 3 bands you want to see in that lineup that is your £100 gone, but to get three full days of entertainment and chance to see new exciting and up and coming bands it is a bonus, that’s what festivals are about the bands you want to see but also the experience and that gem you find and rave about to everybody else. We always moan about the price increases, who doesn’t, but we still pay it because we know we get 3 days of non-stop entertainment in “our” city with family and friends, and share experiences with like minded others, and you can’t put a price on that (although there is plenty that will try)!

Hear something about a change of location but surely an announcement some time prior to tickets going on sale would have had to have been made? hope not though as found a good location where it is. Unless going down the lines of a twinned festival like Leeds and reading? Be interesting if anything is afoot but fingers crossed we keep our festival in It’s home of Sheffield

Well a bit disappointed with that. little man rate tweeted it’s the final tramlines announcement, surely not they are over 10 bands short on Saturday compared to last year.

Few bands I would like to see further down the bill would be: louis dunford Dancing on tables hotel lux The last royals the bots Would also quite like spinn back again enjoyed their set last year. The subways and the Holloway’s would be good too.

Would love that to be true. One of the bands I have wanted to see for a long long time and never have.
