If only Emily and Michael could bottle that essential essence, the perfume of the Long Drops, they could make a fortune wouldn’t they.  !!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Anyone else miss the “clang” noise of the doors? They all had a sort of soft close last year. Just didn’t seem the same!

It wasn't all of them. I think most still had that most glorious of clangs. Which is my text alert tone.

Did you record it, like standing outside the toilets recording the noises? That's not weird... 

Or is it available to download somewhere?

Ha! Not guilty! 

IIRC, I found a little video of one of the doors closing online, managed to rip the audio, convert it into the right file format and then add to my phone's ringtone library. I've formatted the couple of new phones since then as if it was the old one, so retaining the clang. Gawd knows where the sound file is now!

Hey why don’t people combine the two if they are feeling a bit nostalgic when Glastonbury finishes. The sweet perfume of the Long drops with the clanging noises

Farmers in my area are spreading slurry on the fields this week which is giving the whole neighbourhood the atmosphere of the longdrops. My neighbours were complaining and meanwhile I'm trying to hide that it's taking me back to my happy place 😆
