I'd say the spammers are just automatically scraping forums everywhere for things that look like whatsapp codes.  You could probably obfuscate it and it would stop them getting in.. just add something to the code with instructions that humans can edit it.

Lads how does it work with the secret sets? Is there any advance warning at all? Do they go up on a board somewhere? Do you just find out when they roll out on stage? I appreciate the idea of the WhatsApp group but the less device I see next weekend the better.

They don't go up on the boards. Some of them you hear about as they're happening or a few minutes before - piano stage - and some (Folly) you may hear about a few hours before. Throw in the fairly non existent data in Larmer Tree Gardens and its just a big ole drunken lottery.

Piano sets are announced on Line Of Best Fit's Twitter and in person immediately after the previous set. Folly sets, unless you get a tip-off, are surprises.
