Late day 2 or early day 3 of any festival I get hit by a need for nutrients and find myself searching out a smoothie or juice bar. Cool, refreshing and just tastes of goodness.

In the past there's been one on the path that leads down from the railway track to West Holts, with Greenpeace on your left.

I’ve a friend who swears by this stuff after a bevvy session. Two heaped spoonfuls in a big glass of cold water, downed in a oner whilst it’s still fizzing. One giant Beltch, maybe a fart, and he’s ready to start again

If we're heading down this road, a good friend of mine has a pal who is a pharmacist.  Colloquially known as George the Sponge. His secret to drinking unbelievable quantities of alcohol with few ill effects is taking 8 Nurofen before a session, then another 8 before bed with a pint of water each time.  Apparently you'll need a massive piss in the middle of the night, but will be sprightly the morning after, as it stops dehydration, retains electrolytes and stops your organs from swelling/shrinking.  Fucked if I'm trying it but help yourselves....

    • Id suggest we would need another new album before they play again - Otherwise the show is going to probably be very similar to the one they played at the last festival.
    • Absolutely not, I dont know of it selling out but they needed TFG and Skyvip to shift them. Biffy aren't either and they didn't go to TFG and I wouldn't say Kasabian are either and they sold it out the quickest. Liam Gallagher did Finsbury Park as well and subbed the Pyramid Stage, Noah Kahan did two nights at BST and subbed the Pyramid though that's a rare one. Finsbury itself will definitely not grant you top spot, that field can hold 100k      That's fair. I'm definitely in the camp myself that Fender and Harry are most likely.

    • I don't think he will announce restarting north sea drilling.    He'll hint at it instead and kick it down the road.   And the plan isn't for new licenses anyway.
    • LCD Soundsystem seem perfect for the outdoor circuit. I could definitely see them doing that.
