I’d like a hung Parliament tbh, with starmer’s illiberal instincts curtailed a little by the Lib Dem’s. Outside chance of electoral reform etc.

Don’t get why you’re saying Labour want a hung parly?

Ah I was just being facetious, never mind haha

We need it. Labour without Lib Dems would be worse than the Cameron/Gideon/Clegg government.

I wonder if certain people in here will ever critique the Tories horrendous policies on the (supposedly) really important issues like climate change and immigration? Or just go on about Labour who aren’t in government? I think we all know the answer, but stay tuned to find out.

This is the first personal attack in this thread in 4 days.

Out of nowhere too, and about the tenth time this week he's done the whole 'some people' thing. It ruins the thread.

It was you being pathetically passive aggressive as always.

No, it's a passive-aggressive jibe designed to provoke people.

The reason people aren't criticising the Tories is because there's 0 contention whatsoever that the Tories are terrible. That's not news. That's not even different from any other points in the last 50 years.

Labour tacking further right than Cameron/Gideon is news.

Mental what has happened if you're banking on the LDs to make Labour more palatable. Sad state off affairs.

Electoral reform is a big thing for me but think I am naive to think it will ever happen sometimes. Although Davey won't get mugged off again like Clegg with that AV ref if he even has a modicum of sense.

You are wrong, there was a quoted post from 3 days ago which you conveniently ignored.

You can justify why you let the Tories off all you like but the double standards is quite telling.

I just can't see it happening through Starmer. I'd love to be proven wrong but I can't envisage it coming for another 20 years.

Oh, the difference between 3-4 days. Remarkable!

The Tories are tacking right to differentiate themselves more from Labour. Labour are tacking right to "prove electable to Tories". When both parties are tacking substantially towards the right, I'm going to criticise the party that I have an emotional investment in. You've heard this before.

That post was re-shared today, which I note you didn’t comment on.

That might be your reason but I doubt it’s others reasons. To me that lets the Tories off and just because they are terrible all the time isn’t a reason to never call them out on it. People doing that is a part of the reason we get so much Tory rule.

Can I just check, is the "some people" that Ozanne refers to always fraybentos, or can it be other people?

Can't be me cause he's been assuring everyone for 2 years he has me on ignore, yet every post of his is aimed at me.

A cry for help? Perhaps

I'm not a psychologist but I think today it was his way of trying to start an argument on what presumably is a very boring saturday for him. He loves to convince people that he is the biggest Labour man about despite for some bizarre reason not being a member of the party despite genuinely adoring Starmer.

At first I thought it's obviously Dorries, but actually I'm not so sure. I reckon Ozanne would back Starmer if he said we needed to scrap child benefits to pay for bankers bonuses.

Although in the interests of decency, I'm comparing the two strictly only in the sycophantic sense - Nadine Dorries is a vile, vile person.

I'm not going to compare any human being to Dorries in terms of their humanity.
