I reckon Labour will start doing things like this again.

Don't think it really damages sunak, people know that people will take advantage of circumstances.

I think a person has to be particularly prejudiced for either of those to work.

We get the court of justice ruling about Israeli genocide and tomorrow.

Not sure they'll have the bottle to rule it as genocide. If they do a huge row Will kick off.

This national service thing...the general bloke is only saying this to get publicity for the need as he sees it for more military spending. Whether we like it or not the world is looking less stable these days, significant wars bubbling up everywhere, a new military superpower in China and Putin wanting to be Vlad The Great, and the possibility of Trump getting in and US cutting NATO funding or support or even pulls out altogether (unlikely but you never know), but even without Trump it is fair enough that europe is not always reliant on US.

Rather proves that polls are nonsense at the moment.

not nonsense, just showing different results depending on methodology etc but no poll is ever going to be 100% accurate...it's overall poll trackers you want to look at, i.e.

Image

or this from Britain Elects and New Statesman which gets updated daily from different polling...

I reckon it’s probably because he doesn’t like what the polls are showing.

I mean there is a big difference between those two polls...

Yes there is, doesn’t mean that polls are nonsense though.

    • Audrey Hobert getting a lot of traction lately and new single on Friday. Wonder if she could be round next summer.
    • Think Pulp are optimistic, not in terms of size but just that they've been on the road (albeit not intensively) for 3 years in a row and it feels like EotR is the deliberate end of the cycle.   Would be fairly surprised if they're active next year.
    • 👍 plus they brought their own screens 📺 either side of the stage.
    • Production was the only thing that could even explain why she would back out. Like they had sorted out the financials and she was fine with it and then a production meeting happened. It all fell apart. It was very clear that she was not going to compromise her show one bit and then that show in Brazil pretty much confirmed it. There was like one element they couldnt pull off outdoors, but it was negligible since the rest was a carbon copy of the tour she had been on. Glasto is not willing to make any bold changes on the Pyramid stage so then theyre kinda stuck in terms of what some acts want/demand. I think the easiest solution to that is putting her on Friday. You deal with the changes for one night and then re configure for the rest of the weekend. In 24 they were fortunate to have had Dua and Coldplay on Fri and Sat so they could both use the b stage. But I think it was removed for Sunday?     I saw a random rag article earlier that said Olivia Dean turned down Glasto BECAUSE her ex ( not even confirmed dating ) Harry Styles was playing the fest. hahahaha
    • No argument that he’s bigger than ever, I just have no enthusiasm for it.
