Either him or Liam Gallagher I would imagine. I'd heard Liam Gallagher rumoured a while ago.

libertines foals ian brown?

I only know one acted theyve booked and one act they've pursued so far. Liam unlikely, Libertines maybe too soon, if they are sharing the top tier with Truck then foals won't be playing

I would say the following are all possibilities; Bombay bicycle club: new album out, about right size for sub headliner, the vaccines: hard to tell as no tour dates currently scheduled, would also be sub headliner most likely and would be a popular booking, royal blood: got some festival dates in May, would be a good headliner, probably around the right size, Ian brown: headlining victorious and nbhd weekender, both similar sizes to tramlines, could see him headlining here to appease the dark fruits bunch, foals: possibly too big to headline but did headline ynot so who knows, Sam fender: good ticket shifter, could sub like at nbhd, the kooks: playing sub at this is tomorrow so could do the same here, blossoms:new album out so could progress to headliner compared to their last time at tramlines, anyone else with any suggestions?

Blossoms would be a weak headliner personally although they’re not far off. Cant see it being Foals as if headliners are being shared with Truck which has been mentioned before they were there last year. I got a tramlines email the other day with Truck Festival as the subject line so looks like it’s happening. Ian Brown is pretty much a dead cert as he’s everywhere this year. What about Catfish, they’d go down well and fit the generic and predictable category that all festivals seem to follow.

    • If you didn't see melt banana at Apolo. Go see them at the festival. Insane.
    • Interesting, and thanks for coming back to give an update! I've seen that the second stage looks bigger than usual too, looks to be a Serious Stages - Stellar Stage from distance photos.    Seems like sizing wise stages have been scaled up somewhat this year.
    • I see its cancelled now but they did leave it really late to announce plus they are up against Kelburn Garden Party Festival not to far from the festival site.
    • Easily my favourite set of the day.
