First and last

[Neville Street]

First one is 1990, which was my 3rd festival, following 87 and 89. I'm on the right in the fetching Ferrari hat. My mate has just slipped over.

This photo was from a set of prints that originally came back as somebody's wedding pictures. When my friend took them back to Boots they managed to work it out and swap them with our correct pictures, including this one. For many reasons, both the wedding party and our Glastonbury group were relieved that the picture swap worked out!!!

Second one is Proclaimers this year, straw hat has done every festival since 2010 but this may have been its last. I've got a 37 second video of Sunshine on Leith but can't work out how to share it.

The Proclaimers were excellent this year, they always are, but it was definitely special. Agree with FuzzyDunlop's post about that run of songs, it was amazing!!!

Off proper topic, but just found a Proclaimers documentary on iPlayer. It’s from 2017 but includes some great footage

That's the doc that convinced me it was worth getting out of my tent to go and see them. Great watch.

That's the doc that nearly convinced me to see them but I really wanted to see Cat Empire. Who were good, but I've seen before. Immediately wished I'd gone to the Pyramid

Cat Empire we were seeing at night (great party that) and Mrs Q didn't fancy Proclaimers. So breakfast with the Turbans it was. A good choice but reckon proclaimers would have pipped it

 

Oh and not sure I have any pictures of me in 82. Have one from 84 I think and boy I look like I can see into souls or need to go to rehab. Will get my ones of this year up on the photo thread at some point
