_.mark._
Bloc Party are performing Silent Alarm in Bristol on Friday 28th June. Surely we can expect them to make an appearance. Would be perfect Other Stage opener but I don't imagine they would do two gigs in one day. Perhaps step in for the Sunday headline slot on the Other? (Ive gone back through some threads and couldn't see any mention)
briddj
While there is no pattern, the examples of bands playing Glastonbury in "album in full" tours are almost non-existant (Primal Scream apart as one).
_.mark._
your most likely right, just noticed they are in Brighton on Saturday night too so geographic location is now irrelevant
kemosabe
I'm desperate for them to play; although I don't reckon they're gonna be there personally.
Acid Loafers
I have hopes, but not counting on it. Perhaps as a secret set, but I think Foals will most likely take that slot.
I feel like Pablo
God I would love to see them! Fingers crossed for a secret set or other opener. If it's Kaiser chiefs again I won't be held responsible for my actions

mike46
Gone down a bit of a rabbit hole today and ended up here. With the experience of age, I can't believe I opted for Bloc Party over Neil Young that night, but at 17 years old I was young, dumb and... That said, this was still an incredible gig. Really felt like they could have gone on to do something much bigger after this but the follow up albums, massive delays in between them and personnel changes just stopped it all. If they are on the farm playing Silent Alarm I'll be there with bells on, that album was the soundtrack to growing up for me
