Yesiamaduck
Goat are great fun live, especially if it's sunny. You'll want to dance, not usually my thing is 'psych band wearing masks' but they're really quite great live.
killyourtv
Loads of new names; if I can see 40+ of those I'll be happy. Martha unmissable on basis of gigs this year, and Amber Arcades + Frankie Cosmos on basis of recent listens.
paulwa
I'm really liking the Big Thief album. I hope to be able to stay awake to see them in the witching hour on Friday night/Saturday morning.

Born in the fifties
The 2 big big must-sees from Green Man on the bill are Kevin Morby and Ezra Furman, both of whom were stunning at GM and for whom listening to their albums will not prepare you. benali
Thee Oh Sees are top of my list. Saw King Gizzard at Green Man and they were stunning so I'll be down the front for that moshing with the youngsters. I also love Steve Mason so that's a definite as well as Broken Social Scene, Flamingods, Beak, Amber Arcades and Mothers.
purplegh0st
where will the moshpits be this year? (aside from thee oh sees)

(aside from thee oh sees) King Gizzard, Yak (although the Thursday set might prevent that) and possibly Dilly Dally if they go for it. I'm going to try and kick one off at Joanna Newsom if anyone fancies joining in? Edited August 30, 2016 by benali
riverlodge
Definitely King Gizzard - my toes have never recovered from Latitude last year. Possibly Savages? Big Moon were nice and lively (for small crowds) the couple of times I have seen them, and I can definitely see them being on in the tipi later.
