Are you a Trekkie whisty? I posted the StarTrek post in honour of one of my mates who, it would be fair to say, is a Trekkie.

Some in my family say I have Spock shaped ears, that's as near to a trekkie as I get although I did love that show.

Did Oneeye get a pic of the front of the Enterprise up there ^^?

Nelson in cricket

Individual or team scores of 111 or multiples thereof, for reasons unexplained, are considered to be unlucky in cricket. In order to avoid ill fate, some purists raise their leg when the score strikes 111. English umpire David Shepherd was the most famous practitioner of this tradition, which takes its name from Lord Nelson, who had lost an eye, arm and a leg.

I think this is a Land Rover Defender 110 (or it could be a 90 in which case it can come back in a few weeks.)

Image result for Rover 110 michael eavis

Looks like a 90 to me.  I never even thought about this reference today and I have a 110 on the drive as well!!.  Will try and dig out a pic later.

Nice pic though anyway.

    • Not sure if this has been mentioned but new La Roux album out November - was meant to play in 2020 but hasn't found her way back onto a lineup. If any excuse just to hear this absolute banger on the fields next year!
    • Yeh, the quiet camping also seems to be on the same side (broadly) as the bits of the festival that go on the latest (Far Out / Chai Waalahs / RTT until 4am). We're always in Tangerine Fields which is right behind the main stage and as soon as that and Rising Stage are done it's pretty quiet (midnight onwards) which I'd guess is pretty similar if you can hack taking all your gear from the car past the big tree in the middle and into the campsites that side.
    • Can't see Bimble line up anywhere - am I being dense and missing an obvious release somewhere?
    • Not expecting a tour imminently but Peter Gabriel would fit the vibes magnificently.
    • I have but a very long time ago and can remember nothing about it at all. Which I suppose is a review of sorts
