So, 9 hours and 20 minutes after the official closure time, the opportunity to pay off the balance has passed.

I saw a few comments on FB about people forgetting to pay before midnight, but did anyone here benefit from the extra 9 hours?

It's amazing to me that you'd forget. Everyone has gone through so much hassle to secure the ticket in the first place and then to just forget is amazing. I guess if you're one of the few people that rarely uses a computer it's possible, but man...

Me too.

I know some people weren't getting paid until the 7th, but I'd have that date indelibly imprinted in my head. It seems that it's quite usual for the payment window to remain open into the following day so if anyone didn't pay there's no excuse for forgetting really.

Can you imagine how lucky you must feel if you actually forgot to do it until this morning, but by some miracle the window was still open? I'd become a born again christian I think.

I saw this thread title and instantly checked my confirmation email! I don't get paid till the 15th of each month but this is something I budgeted for a long time ago.

Ditto.  Shit me right up that did.

  1. Read words "balance payments now closed"
  2. Panic
  3. Frantically opened e-mail, see empty inbox
  4. Panic more
  5. open "Glastonbury" sub folder
  6. see words  "You have booked to attend GLASTONBURY 2016 at Worthy Farm, Pilton-Somerset on 24-26 June 2016. Gates open at 8am Wednesday 22 June."

I can just imagine that. Suddenly realise you hadn't paid, instantly panic, hurriedly opening Seetickets and clicking through the screens, desperately trying to enter your details without screwing up. And then... Breathe. :) A bit like ticket day only worse.

Sorry if the title put anyone through that!
