Going Solo Glastonbury 2016

I have been to Glastonbury last few years but none of my mates are going this year so looking to go alone and thought I'd see if anyone else going on their own fancied meeting up there?

Think some people last year formed a group on here and did a similar thing and there were quite a few in the end. Let me know if you're interested :-)

I'll be paying my deposit in a week regardless, one of the best experiences of my life so won't be missing out whatever happens!

Hey, I'm from Manchester too! My friend is still unsure whether he's coming but I might join some people that I don't know too well. Either way, it would be good to get to know some people and to meet up there in case I might be on my own in the end

It's my first time at Glastonbury and unfortunately my friends can't come ...quand bit anxious about camping solo but excited at the same time! Would be great to meet people there

So.....been ridiculously excited about Glastonbury (amazing line-up this year)......very recent split from GF - desperate to go but nervous about going it alone......don't want her to spoil all my fun.....what to do?

Go - a million times over. Done several festivals on my own. Glastonbury's size is inversely proportional to how comfortable and welcomed you can feel on your own at a festival!

Even if you saw them, they could pass ten feet away without even knowing where you are, that's certainly happened with friends of mine when we've both had a drink or two.

Secondly, makes it really important for you to go there and have a great time.

Thirdly, there are plenty of posts in other threads about folks who are in a similar boat and want to meet up and you've still got 5 weeks to work out where you want to be and what you want to do.  You'll have a cracking time
